Hi guys. A little about me, I am 28, 256lbs, 6' about 26% bf and really looking to take control of my life again. I have about 7 Years of lifting/exercise exp (on and off) as I was prior military. Life was simple when all I had to do was go to the mess hall and pick out the better foods with endless supply of salads, fruits etc.. Now I joined a lot gym again, and will start a 5 day split (mon- chest, tues - back , wed - legs, thur - shoulder, fri- arms, weekends off with cardio following the works on mon/wed/fri). I really need help with controlling urges for sweets and supplements I can take that will help energize me. Atm, I don't have the urge to work out and fell low on energy. In short, I am looking for tips on what you use to stay away from sweets (maybe foods that help satisfy the urge but wont kill your diet, or foods that suppress hunger, etc) and keep me energized to keep going to the gym. I am researching basic diet plans now, but if you have a cookie-cutter plan that i can build off of, that would help great also. I know for me will be the next month of staying committed, after that it should be a breeze! Any and ALL help is a appreciated. I also will be hired for the nypd in January, so time is of the "essence" (safely, of course).

3J is about to have a HUGE sale - I recommend snagging his services for at least a few months. He will put you on the straight and narrow...but the will power is up to you. No one can help you with that.

You can find a ton of diet plans online for free. I have dropped nearly 60 pounds following the Dolce Diet (Mike Dolce - MMA nutritionist) and the weight flew off.

And once you start to see the weight come off that'll be all the motivation you need brotha!
