Need that 500g of PROTEIN

Guys just a quik question? i need help gettin down a somewhat huge amount...500g of protein....with minimal usuage of protein shakes. What do u do?
guys help me out please....how do i go about this and what should i be eating each meal to help me get HUGE

500 grams of protein? your stats? anyhow your intake should be somwhere between 1.5 - 2.0 grams per Kg (I figure this would be around 2.2 us pounds)

With minimal protein shake useage? Good luck, and I hope ya don't have a job since eating would become your full time job. ;)

Well, one can of tuna has about 37 grams of protein, so about 13 of those a day would equal 500 grams of protein, and a few glasses of milk, maybe some eggs.

Thats A shot load of protein: Not that it can't be done but you better be one big SOB to use that much. I take about 450g / day with 2 shakes and thats only cause i'm dieting down to comp weight.

Meal 1: 3 scoops Isopure ZeroCarb
Meal 2: 10 oz. Chicken Breast
Meal 3: 12 oz. Lean Beef
Meal 4: 3 scoops Isopure
Meal 5: 10 oz. Chicken Breast
Meal 6: 12 oz. Lean Beef

That gets me pretty close to 450 with a few incomplete proteins from other foods.

If you want 500 you'd need to probably up the Chicken to 14 oz. / day and that will get you pretty darn close once you add the protein from oatmeal and rice and other things like natural peanut butter.

Ha, you could walk around with a jug of milk all day long.

Unless you alread have 250 lbs of lbm (which would make you almost as big as Ronnie Coleman) and are bulking I highly doubt that you NEED 500 grams of protein a day. 2 grams x lbm max.

i think someone posted need 500 g of protein a day for the doggcrap training ... i belive it was txlonghorn ... but don't quote me on that *shakes fist*

Actually walking around with a jug of milk all day long may be the best way to bulk up. When bulking I manage to drink an entire gallon of milk every day it works and it is fairly inexpensive.

the more protien the better, but how much do you weigh? As stated if your a big guy then you need it but if you wiegh 170 lbs you could take in less. But at least you got the idea of the importance of protien down

currently im 200 so that would mean roughly taking in 400g of pro. but the article also states that u should eat the amount that you want to become. so for me, for starters anyway, would be roughly 440. then once i hit tha mark i would just keep on incresing it. it really sounds all to easy but i no its far from that.

he also states that your protein for each meal should be the first thing eaten followed by you vegies then complex carbs. i tried it this morning and let me tell you after eating my eggs i found it a bit of a challenge to getthe oats down the hatch.

apart from being very religious about the 2g per pound, he states that he doesnt keep track or count calories from his carbs and fat as long as you dont eat any carbs after 7. you can eat whateva it maybe, chocolate - macas as long as u cut al carbs after 7.

is this wise and would it work? he continuisly talks about his success in bulking ppl up from some small weight and making them add 30 or so whilst keeping the same body. im keen to try this but have any of you guys had success with it

that's my biggest struggle w/ DC training and diet, all the food! but it works! the training for me is easy, i like that part, but this is going on 8 weeks of being stuffed to the gills all the time, i've got to work and puked on more than one occasion...lol. but i've went from 205 to 221 in 8 weeks training his way and using supplements of course. the strength gains are unreal though.......REST PAUSE for LIFE!

Try 600, it's even worse!
I eat a lb of chicken and a bunch of carbs for breakfast - 127g's
Then 1 100g shake and oatmeal for 2nd breakfast. - 100g's
Then Chicken beef or fish for lunch with fat, no carbs - ~100g's
Then Chicken beef or fish for 2nd lunch with no fat, no carbs - ~100g's
Same for dinner with lots of green veggies, no explicit carb intake - 120g's
Then a mixed casein/egg/whey protein shake just before bed - 100g's

That's two shakes a day, not too bad. I was at 295 when hitting it like that and I could not gain an ounce. I would have had to take it to another level to keep gaining and probably add more carbs. I'm cutting now and follow almost the same with slightly smaller portions and more cardio. Down to 271 and my lifts are still increasing. As long as I keep the carbs low after lunch, and non existent towards bed, I can still stay lean.

BTW - Your gonna feel like a bloated pig 24/7. Takes a little getting used to.

does anyone follow doggcraps rule of consuming 450g + of protein?

Let's just say us DC trainees have no choice in the matter. If you don't eat enough, he sends In-Human out to your house to teach you a lesson! :D
