New and Never touched Supp or Stero....New to Gym

Hello Everyone...

Let me introduce myself ,i am ZODI ( nickname ) and i am 21 yrs old...i weight between 74 to 77 Kgs keeps changing and my height is 6"0. i was a very fat kid and lost around 20 kgs last year by strict dieting without any fat burners and now i am going to gym from the past 2 months and i would be glad if you all can suggest me on somthing thats going around in my mind for a long time.

i was wondering if i should go for supplements or not as my body is all lose and soft after losing weight ,as far as steroids are considered i might never touch them. so keeping in mind that i was fat and lost weight recently what i fear the most is i might get fat again if i touch any supple's thats my biggest fear also is it healthy to go for them ? i got no clue so please suggest me ,i dont want to become a HULK...but just like all the Models look like,if you know what i mean...with all those cuts and small size but great Shape.

h ey zodi welcome to the board. i might be able to provide some suggestions but first let me ask a few questions

1) are you looking to bulk muscle or tone muscle

2) what does your current diet consist of

3) what does you current training routine consist of
 
aside from high calorie weight gainers, supplements wont make you fat.

theres really no need for supplements, but products like BUZZ SAW from the link in my sig will get you nice and wired for your workouts. creatine can help with strength. ephedrine is the best legal fat loss agent. theres really no need to worry about much else as far as BBing supplements go. Multivitamins and fish oil are good general health supplements.
 
You can start by dropping the fucking smokes.

If you just started out, supps are a waste. Just eat clean, lift heavy, and rest. Stay consistent.

1) I am looking Tone muscle like the Models have....

2) my diet is typical indian food home made ( rich in spice , meat, chicken,etc )basically is all meat and small amount of veggies. i doubt if its nutricious.

3) my current routine is done by a coach at the gym and he is not certified as there is hardly any gym here who got a certificate for coaching so thats how it is in here in india.

well based on your answer i would say as far as supplements wise u could deffinately use a pre work out without any worries about becomming fat again. you can use protein too if not on it already.


1) SUPPS, pre work out supplement Eg. NO explode, Fast twitch, Superpump. Protein. you could use a mild fat burner if your holding onto excess fat (Ephedrine). also a multivitamin and some BCAA'S (look up if you dont know)

2) as for your routine i would deffinately stick to alot of cardio if your looking to tone. and as far as training i would stick to higher reps and less weight fucus on sculpting your body rather then bulking on mass.

3) meats are ok. as long as their not very high in fat. up your vegetables as much as possible. if your prone to putting weight on quick stay away from excessive carbs and calories.

THis is just the basics and my oppinion. im sure you could get 15000000 diff oppinions from different people on here alos i would quit smoking as mentioned above

so can i start taking supplements just like that...i mean i have just spend like a month or so in gym so do i have to workout without supps for few more months or just take them and its better that way ? i hope you understood what i mean.

also i dont know what shud be my diet like i dont eat crab at all shud i start eating ? if yes then how many times a week or day or however i am suppose to eat it and i think before you suggest me anything more you shud look at my body structure so that you can suggest me in the right way right ?

zodi based on your picture and description. i would get on a mild fat burner(ephedrine) i would say you could also use a protien but try to find one iwthout excess carbs or calories. also try a pre workout. i listed some names above. STAY AWAY FROM MASS GAINERS. STAY AWAY FROM HIGH CARB AND CALOIE DIETS. remember to eat clean. and lots of vegetables and fruits. mostly vegetables. you can start supplements whenever you would like but keep in mind if you dont work out with them they are useless.

like i said before this is my opponion for a routine im sure someone will always have a different oppinion.

lots of cardio. prefferably twice a day, once in the morning before any meals. and once after working out

as for a work out routine stick to high reps and lighter weight. your goal is to tone not to bulk.

check in the training forum and im sure you will be able to find a workout for toning if not post question asking for one. youll get about a milion responses
 
- the whole "lighter weight, higher reps = tone" crap is a myth. Tone comes from low bodyfat gained through a proper diet.

- this guy is just starting out and doesn't need supps, doesn't need to be doing cardio twice a week, etc etc.

- dude, post your diet or what kinda foods you like and we can help you design something to meet your weight loss needs.

- most important thing at your stage or just starting out is to be consistent with going to the gym, with some kinda of beginner routine centering around free weight compound movements. and be consistent with a clean diet.

I thought ephedrine was made illegal? They took it out of Hydroxycut, which by the way was the BEST weight loss supp I've ever taken (when it had ephedrine in it).
 
ok my meals mainly consist of RICE yea rice and curries...thats wht we eat and sometimes bread etc ...i eat lots of meat n chicken but never carbs....i see everywhere the usage of word crab but honestly i hate sea food so ya no to crabsor fish for me.

i workout in gym daily except for the sundays ...

and my workout is like 1 day chest biceps and other day shoulder triceps then next day lads and biceps and repeat...

i will go checkout the training section and THANKS to all of you for your valuable suggestions. its been great help :)

youre in India, right? that would explain the high shipping. I guess in your case it would be much more cost effective to buy something locally or from an Indian online vendor. TrueProteins products tend to be more potent/higher quality than most, but theres no sense in paying $50 for $20 worth of product.

well it was banned, then they lifted the ban, then they lifted the ban on the ban. I know ephedrA in products is long gone and not comming back, but Im not 100% sure on the exact status of ephedRINE HCl. Im pretty positive its legal to buy/sell/possess, but i believe they limit the quantity you can buy at one time because it can be converted to crystal.
