new clips loaded, deads off of a 3 1/2 block. 1/13/05

check um out. you guys who arent doing these need t give um a try. make sure to keep good form and dont dump it on ya back.
 
IS that cat not wearing any shoes when he's doing that? Is that so he can focus on shifting his weight t his heels.

Maybe I'm slow but what does the block add?
 
hes wearing socks cause his running shoes throw his weight forward.

that extra few inches makes the lift a lot more difficult. develops hole shot power for you guys who are weak at the bottom on squats and deads. how do you know if you weak at the bottom. if you ass flies up before the bar moves off the floor. then you dump it on your back. film your worklouts and youll see a hole new perspective on things.,

block pulls really helped me out..

an easy trick is to use some 45 plates but make sure you put a towel inbetween each layer of plates so that tey dont slip and slide on you...
 
nice vid PB. I've usually heard those called platform deads, not block pulls, but i know you like to be different.
I do them on an aerobic step cause the plates in my gym aren't good for standing on.

well we just country ass folks down here. i was doing good to even think of a name for them.

we tried the cardio steppers but they squashed. :laugh3:

Luckily for me, i weigh a lot less than you.
and i don't pull very much anyway, but it doesn't always feel safe when i add a lot of weight to the bar.
you did good for a country boy, don't worry.

I did these last night for the first time, awesome!
My legs and back are toasted as a result. Keep the clips coming PB!
