Hey guys, I'm new to steroids and started my first cycle. Im kinda just paranoid and looking for some feedback from some more knowledgeable users.
First off I have been around fitness for years, I was a former golden gloves champion fighter and after boxing I went to weight training to stay in shape. I've been lifting consistently for a few years now and now have these stats.....I'm 5'11 245 lbs and I haven't checked my body fat recently but my top ab lines are still slightly visible. I'm in good shape I think. I recently did 365 for 3 on the bench, I dead lift 545 as a 1 rm.
Like I said I am on my first cycle and just did my 5th weeks worth of shots, test only cycle.
Here's my question, I am wondering if I should be seeing results by now? I know it's only a test cycle but I haven't seen any results I don't believe. The source is respected locally in the weight training game so I think my gear is good but like I said, no results. I don't wanna sound egotistical but is it possible because of my already decent lifts and size that my gains would be slower than a smaller guys? I have good genetics and have grown a ton since I started but I'm stuck for awhile and thought some extra help from the test would help. Any advice is appreciated, thanks guys.
 
Everyone is different. I personally start seeing strength by end of week 4 or 5. Keep in mind it's not an inhuman gorilla rage type of strength, but just a few extra pounds on my lifts, and I can rep my normal weight a bit more comfortably.
As for visual or weight gains, again everyone is different but by the end of week 7-8 I start to see slight changes.
Just remember this stuff doesn't work overnight, and the changes you notice will be very gradual..you're not going to wake up one day with bulging veins and ab's like Arnold (that's what I thought when I first started, but quickly learned otherwise)
Im sure some otherguys will chime in but for now..what are you looking to do, add mass? are you eating enough food..I'd imagine at 245 you'de better be eating like a beast if your looking to get bigger
 
I'm big, small town and people think I'm a monster. But I wanna be what I consider a monster. I want more mass. I eat a lot, 5-6 times a day depending on how much I can get down. Protein shakes as well. I know this isn't a miracle or anything, guess I'm just looking to be reassured that it'll work in time. First cycle like I said so just excited to see some new results. Nervous because I haven't noticed anything yet.
 
How much in gains on average can a person expect on a test only 10 week cycle? So I don't disappoint myself too much. I see guys saying they gain 30 lbs so it got me a bit nervous.
 
Just give it time dude you will start to see results..really no telling how much one will gain..10 weeks is a bit short though IMO, what ester test are you running. My first cycle was (10 weeks sustanon), and people recommended I go 12 or 14, and I wish I would have listened.

Alright well thanks for the response, I'll post that diet into the diet section prob tomorrow....it's 2am here and I'm beat haha. I did 10 weeks because it seemed like the most usual cycle i saw while researching others cycles. Never even considered going longer but thanks. I can tell u that the lifting and nutrition part of my training aren't an issue at all, it's just this damn steroids side I'm struggling with haha. I'll keep doing my research.
 
Hey - welcome to the board :)

I've only been here a month and am just about to hit my 8th week in my 1st cycle - test cyp 500 a week ... I've just started to see more rapid gains the last couple weeks.

I've heard you'll see the size start to kick in around week 7-8 and that's pretty much on tack in my case.

If you keep reading and using the search feature here you'll find many ways to pack on more mass - but I'll let the pros handle that for you.

The only thing I can tell you for sure is - only test - on your 1st cycle!

Understand how you respond to test - then build off of that.

people who are far from their genetic potential or were under eating pre-cycle, etc. but get things in check when they cycle will likely see explosive gains. it will also be harder for them to hold on to them.

personally for me i was pretty far from it. i've seen big gains and started seeing the size gains VERY quickly though i didn't really feel any different. it has slowed down recently. i started feeling physical changes more around the week 4-5 mark.

how much test are you doing?
