Hello everyone great site very helpful. 48 years old 6' 1" 205 lbs, felt very sluggish tired all the time sleeping my life away. Had T checked came back 142, repeated 160 a couple weeks later.

FSH, 6.4
LH, 8.1
PROLACTIN, 5.6
PSA, 0.4

Doctor started me on 200mg Testosterone Cypionate per week. allows self injecting started 9/27/13.

How long before I should start seeing results for stamina energy?

How long before libido goes to overdrive?

I've been reading through many of the post and I keep seeing guys giving there start level and the amount they are taking and fellow posters say you should be around 800 or whatever. Is there a formula for figuring out where your level should be based off your start level and the amount taken?

Thanks for this great site where we can share our experiences and help one another learn all we can about treatment.

Welcome! Split your weekly dose into 2 100mg doses a week every 3.5 days. I started to feel better after a couple of weeks but really felt it after six weeks. Keep an eye on your E2, take a Aromatase inhibitor (AI) if you feel symptoms of high E2.

Good Luck

PSA is always pretty low in Low T males...I noticed the same thing on my lab...
When I was on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) PSA was 2.40...
Is this a G.P. or endo you go to bro?
That's a hefty dose

Female Urologist, very easy going takes time to discuss treatment I asked for self injections see said sure no problem. Very Pleased with doc so far.

Is there a calculator/formula for figuring t-levels based off treatment amount and frequency?

No formula. Everyone metabolizes testosterone injections differently. But 200mg/week will put you at the top of the normal range most likely. You may very well need an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) too at that dose. As said previously, keep getting labs to monitor how you are responding. Good luck.
