New To All Of This

Hey. Im a 32 year old disabled veteran. I been dianosed with low testosterone, hypogonadism or something like that. My testosterone is 26 and the dr told me it shoul be between 200 and 800. He has prescribed me injections of 200 mg every three weeks. My question from reading alot of other post is should i seperate these into 3 equal ammounts every week. Ive read that there is a drop off of the affects after a week or so. Any info would help me out, im a newbe to all this and my first post. Thank you so much

If thats your dose and that is your only alternative then I would divide them. That is a very low dose for a 3 week time span. Some people here are on that dose every week.

I'd even say to split it up to twice a week if possible. 200mg in 3 weeks is a little on the low side, but unfortunately we have to play by their rules unless you want to go out of pocket. :/

I would go out of pocket but dont wana get in trouble dont know how to go about it safely

Your doc is an idiot! testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose should be about 200 per week. Call Todd, he can help you out.

Im on 200mg weekly. Dont do a 3 week dose it will make things worse. Divide the dose by 3 and inject once a week. Also look for a new doctor because it sounds like yours has a lot to learn. If he is willing to learn then you can "suggest" things to try. You have to be careful in that situation though. Good luck.

That is a fact !!!!!! I'm on 200 a week and stay between 700 and 900 at 50yrs old.....

If your going through the Va like me they will go down to weekly but probably not do 200 a week, probably more like 100 a week, which is working for me. Even if they dont let you do that, you could split 200 into two every 10 days or so, and that would be better. If your doing the Va, just do the blood test and tell them you feel like crap and they will change it. At least you are lucky as my people up here only want to treat to about 5-600.

Another note on the Va, they like a 10 -1 ratio fo Testosterone to estrogen, so unless you fall majority out of that they probably will no prescribe an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) or estrogen blocker. They will do an Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) but you will have to pay for it . Also they will cover clomid if your interested in a restart or pregnantcy.
