new to workin out

if the man lacks the endurance to jog for 2 minutes without stopping, he needs to start at a slower pace. what makes you think a sprint is feasible if a 2 min jog is too taxing?

running is not the only way to do cardio, and for many walking yields better results. IMO in his case walking will suffice

Honestly, yeah, anything will work. It's best if he does something instead of nothing because of us arguing over what's best.

I don't know how you couldn't do at least a few sprints...I've seen some pretty fat out of shape guys that could do more than a couple sprints.

I was once at about the level he is, but sprinting at least 4 times was never a problem.

Hubba Hubba...just start out easy like everyone else is saying. You can add in sprints later on once you're able to.

not tryin to argue brother, just makin my point, right or wrong....hard to tell w/o lookin at the man...im a stubborn fuck, and my way is always the right way (in my eyes anyhow) :)

no blood no foul

be cool

1% in a day? Sheeeeeeeeeeit I wish. Like said its impossible to answer, if you are 20% @ 400 pounds or 20% @ 180 pounds there is a big ass difference.

You can safely lose about 1 pound of body mass a week naturally without giving up LBM, when water weight goes so does muscle generally, since its 70% water.

I can lose 2-3 pounds a week without losing strength if on gear, but size slowly trickles away as I lose that water. After losing close to 20 pounds I have lost about 5/16" on my arms.

i don't know if you guys know it or have heard of it but here goes: ddr.
it's the dancing game thing? anywho, it has a workout mode which tracks how much calories you lost while you were dancing and stuff.. my question is, is it accurate? or can i use that as an alternate to running?

I've used it, and it's good cardio, but it doesn't quite replace running.

The calories seem accurate enough, I guess.
