Nutropin Depot was FDA approved for the long-term treatment of growth failure due to lack of adequate endogenous growth hormone secretion in pediatric patients on December 22, 1999. There are currently ongoing Phase II/III clinical trials to evaluate Nutropin Depot's safety and efficacy in the treatment of adult GHD.

Are there any HGH approved for adult GHD bro? If yes, and assuming that Nutropin is the exact same product, then why the need for approval? I suppose I'm missing something here eh?

Nutropin Depot is delivered via a one-injection or two-injection per month process. Its formuation is different than what is on the market now; hence the FDA interference.
