No gains from last cycle, trt too long?

Ive been on trt for close to 3 years. It took me a year to dial in and get everything in check while on trt. I dose at 50mg twice a week with 1mg of anastrozole a week. Total is usually around 1000, free was 400, e2 at 30, donate blood every 8 weeks. My total test was 240 before trt. Im 38yrs old.

Ive done 3 cycles in 3yrs after starting trt (5 cycles in last 5yrs). First cycle after starting trt was a test only and had great results.
Second cycle was sus, tren, var with 3g nutrition plan and had excellent results. Third cycle was test, dbol, deca to bulk up and nothing. Had all the sides, gained 10lbs in first 4 weeks and hit a brick wall. Went up to 4000+ calories (maintenance for me is 3000), and wouldnt gain. All gear was PSL.

My question is could this be from being on trt and doing cycles for so long? I know the gear was legit, ate plenty of food on 3g nutrition plan, and even got deca dick towards the end. E2 was spot on before, during, and after. Prami helped the deca dick, but did not gain anything since week 4.

any thoughts?

your receptors are "saturated"*. in the last few years you've thrown 6 different compounds in there while running test year round.

*not that the receptors could actually get fully 'saturated' , its more of a down regulation or your bodies way of maintaining homeostasis .

take some time off . also try adjusting your diet over time so that your metabolism becomes more efficient and can maintain your current weight on fewer and fewer calories , that way when you decide to blast again and bulk , it will be easier to up the calories and make gains.

Nope. You just weren't eating enough and/or training correctly.

most of us that have ran multiple cycles over the years know that there are times when running gear you make gains and your diet and training suck, yet you still make some gains . why is this?
If a guy has been dieting and training for 3 years and knows how to make gains, then why after 3 years did the gains suddenly stop when the diet and training are there as well as the AAS ?

^ sounds like 2 totally different things but they both are true and both happen. something is going on, the body has hit a 'plateau' and something needs to change (yes you can try to change diet and training even more, but may not work). But there is down regulation and the body's fight to 'stay small' and stay in homeostasis . if this were not true, and these 'walls' where no growth is possible even with proper training and diet were not there , then we would have 900 pound body builders walking around.

Could it have to do with sleep apnea? Ive been catching myself holding my breath lately. I didnt notice it back then but i was waking up quite a bit, blamed it on the prami.

did the sleep apnea develop while running deca ? have you had blood work done and hematocrit levels checked recently ? If your AAS use has lead to sleep apnea you may want to re-evaluate what your doing.

If I run a large 'bulk' cycle with NPP and Deca then towards the end of the cycle I will develop sleep apnea, as well as claustrophobia and trouble breathing, and anxiety while trying to sleep . Not good, means its time to get off.
however, I can run 500 mg of test, 600 mg of Mast or Primo and not have any sleep apnea issues at all.

Ive been off that cycle for 3 months +, my wife says ive been holding my breath for years when i sleep im just hard headed and paid no mind. Im going for a sleep study soon to verify. I have been having anxiety and shortness of breath lately but it has to do with stress at work and my allergies flaring up this time of year (i think).

Nope. Your body makes more androgen receptors.

Well thats weird then cause I was eating quite a bit a food in 4000 calories plus adding cheat meals eod on top of that. Working out 5 days a week doing reverse pyramid training till complete failure, no cardio. Im only 5'8 200lbs 15%bf with a pretty sedentary job. Im sure i can eat more but i def dont want to do deca again regardless. What is a good substitute for a bulk? I want to jump back on in October.

If you were eating enough for bulking, you would have gotten fatter at a minimum. Right? The fact that your weight didn't change means you were eating at maintenance. Take steroids out of the equation and think about the calories.

I never said i didnt gain, i gained 16lbs without gear before i started that cycle, and gained another 12lbs while on cycle all while staying below 15% bf, but youre right maybe i needed to be at 5,000 calories but ive been at 215lbs before and never needed to eat that much to get there. 4500 at most

Sleep studys are expensive. You can buy a CPAP and mask for a pretty reasonable price. They come with a manual, and are easy to set up. The one I got has a function that learns over the course of a few days its own settings. Im just saying if you want to save a little time and money just buy one, you can get the machine and mask on a very popular online retailer for a good price.

The treatment for sleep apnea whether it is central or obstructive is still a cpap, unless you need a sinus surgery. But if you cant breathe through your nose decently then alternating a spray of Afrin in a nostril every night will do wonders.

I use the AirFit P10 nasal pillow, and its pretty good. The added benifit to a CPAP is the humidifier, heated tube, and an hepa'ish allergen filter on some machines. So it really helps in more then just the aspect of keeping passages open, it filters, heats and moistens the air as well.

I was told that the cpap machine comes regulated for the dosage of oxygen you require per the study?

I thought you needed a prescription to buy a CPAP machine (at least in USA).

Technically yes, but I have purchased 2 machines and 4 masks without having to supply a script, over the last two years from Amaz0n.

@nitrousoutlaw - CPAP machines work on air only - air that is in the room. The dr or respiratory therapist just set the machines pressure settings based on the study and other factors. But like I was saying, different CPAP machines have different modes, so its not always necessary.
