NO you SHOULD NOT tell your Doc about AAS use NO your record is NOT safe! see here>

most will make note of illegal use of drugs to cover there ass.... the infection could be a b12 shot... again stupid reason to say anything...
and the red is just a really stupid comment...

Well we can agree to disagree there.

It is something to consider overall though and a tough choice when using AAS.

Life/Health insurance and Steroids

Fuck DNP. Dangerous shit. I wonder how many people would give it a second thought if they knew it was originally used as a pesticide.

In regards to results, how are LabCorp results (outside of your doctor's records) treated for medical insurance/life insurance?

Great question. This is right up my alley. I have done a lot of insurance with athletes that may (or not) have been cycling. Insurers aren't going to check for your hormone levels. They will check your liver functions and cholesterol and blood pressure which can be affected by elevated hormones.

They will check your records. They will use your records as they see fit. If your doctor mentions it then consider it permanent. Some might say then, that it is a bad idea to find out how close and off the record your doc really is. Some of you boys have low single digit body fat content but if you are 5'7 and weigh in at 229 forget getting a prefered rate.

If you get rated or declined count on other insurers following suit. Many insurers will rate or decline based soley on other insurers doing so and not even consider the cause and if they would have done the same thing were they to see the cause first. For this reason you need to understand what questions to ask your insurer with out just info dumping on an agent that may not even know what to do with the info.

You can't lie on a life policy but you can answer things the right way. That said, a good company will have a two year incontestability clause in the contract where no matter what, after two years, they pay out no questions asked.

Generaly speaking: when you get your blood drawn make sure it is about mid morning. Don't give a urine sample on the first elimination of the morning, on an EKG/ECG don't exercise the night before or the morning of.

PM me if you want specifics on what to do with your own situation.

His choice of words i.e. "enforcement wing" may have been hysterical but he is right about data base and that the IRS will be responsible for virtually all of the organization regarding the Afordable Care Act (ACA, Obamacare) including enforcement. And while the IRS part may not have been relevant to this discussion ***8220;What do we tell our doctors?***8221; in my opinion is even if I don't agree with his conclusion that we shouldn't tell our doctors.

Doctors can have a good practice now without Medicare or Medicaid patients and frequently they don't want to jump through all the hoops associated with being compliant. One of the literally tens of thousands of regulations of being compliant for Medicare/aid billing is compliant database-ing. It is a safe thing to say that a doctor won't be able to have a successful practice in the future without accepting ACA patients and this type of data base is a requirement of the ACA. There is indeed proof that the IRS will have access to and USE your medical records for their decisions on your health care and your future taxation.

Great read and something I'm still on the fence about. My instincts say to NEVER tell a doc about AAS use but I also want quality care and do not want to compromise their ability to make decisions with all the info. Also, I'm in Canada so having something like that on my record could diminish or limit access to free care I'm guessing.

I'm still researching at the moment so I haven't done a cycle yet but I'm planning a Test E cycle in the next 6 months or so.

Im canadian too. you will still get the FREE part of our care, but full med plans like having meds covered or other things covered through work or personal plan can get F*cked, and also life insurance..

if going for major surgery while on cycle or near cycle, then yeah mention it. but for 99% of things you can say it was a supp you bought ( why blood test messed up) or even if infection from shot can be a bad b12 shot.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it! Great advice regarding messed up blood tests, I have been wondering how to handle that in the event it comes up.

Hysteria! How bout denial!..not here to agree or disagree CDiggs. Read the news brother. Get informed. Tune in. Start with the IRS and health records (or better yet..start with the Patriot Act and the Affordable Healthcare Act). It's a fact that the IRS will have access to all person's health records whenever they want (esp during tax season if you don't have proof that you carry a personal health insurance policy on yourself). They will make sure you have health insurance through a private insurance company..or you will pay a penalty (aka higher taxes).. & health insurance will be provided to you by the government. I've run into this many times selling health and life insurance to "healthy" people just like you. Hey..If you have a great relationship with your PCP (primary care physician) and you trust him..then go ahead and unload, but if he "mistakenly" puts any of what you say in your record..it's there for life brother..(that's a life sentence)...and there's no appeals process. Healthcare is to be universal and government regulated. Read that last part again for good measure. Remember, in life..a good bet is one with minimal risk. This means you don't stand to lose to much if you bet wrong. Are you willing to make that bet and pay for the rest of your life if your wrong? Each individual person can decide that for themselves. I'm only sharing information with you based on fact and my professional experience. You do what you want with it, but if it helps one person to not screw themselves..then mission accomplished. AND I WANNA MAKE THIS CRYSTAL CLEAR!!!! If you have an infection..or any other medical problem that cause you pain or to lose sleep..GET MEDICAL HELP IMMEDIATELY!

I have read the affordable care act and it in no way shape or form gives the IRS acess to your health records.

Please show me where it does.

I may have overlooked it on the thread so i apologize in advance if its repeated, but remember this: if you tell your doc about aas, he may still make it part of your record even though you ask him not to. Doctors are like lawyers so to speak, in regards to doctor/patient privacy. However if its in your record, and now a days most records are part of a computer network, then most ANYONE in the medical field has access, to include ex-wives etc, so you can see where im going with this...

Juiced,

Thanks for the post man. I'm sure you have helped quite a few people avoid a bad situation.

EDIT: I can only see disclosing this information if it was ABSOLUTELY necessary. However, I find it difficult to say this. It seems what is deemed absolutely necessary is different for each individual lol. One person may get a cold and start singing lol.

My Doctor Knows I juiced. I tell my Doc Everything. #True Love Doctor Breaks It Off Proper.

same thing...i have the same doctor for about 8-10 years...did not have any kind of issues...

if its not noted fine.... but just because he notes it doesnt mean your insurance is gonna flag it, its NOT automaic is WHEN they look at it like when changing plans or taking on a new one will they see it and it screw you over...
most doc make notes for bettering their treatment of you AND covering their ass's.

for your sake I hope you are right.

again I still stand my my argument. of course there will be circumstances that differ, shot my first cycle came from me doc! Deca! but thats not the majority ...

The unfortunate thing that happens..if ur doctor mistakenly (or his PA or MA) makes any reference to AAS in ur record..its there forever. Doctors need to cover themselves as well. Of course, for anyone in an emergency situation..none of this applies.
