normal for first cycle ?

currently about to hit the end of my 4th week of my first cycle ever of*test*e 500 mg per week , mind you the first two weeks I was not consuming nearly enough calories , the past two I have been eating good and have seen 5-7 pound increase in weight and a slight increase in strength though no really noticeable size gains, ive read on forums week 4 is the week most people really begin to notice it , though its not very apparent to me , im wondering if this is normal for where im at ?
 
Yup that's normal. Some people take up to week 6 to really start feeling it. Keep it up and you'll notice results soon
 
Test e at 500mg a week was my first cycle and I ate everything in sight. I jumped from 150pounds to 170, it was huge jump. I go to the gym 5 days a week though. how many times do you go a week? less reps more weight right?
 
its pretty normal man , i didnt realy get my stuff was good till about week 4 , started to notice i had atrophy , started getting acne , strength went up a decent amount , hitting my plateau weights alot easier, and i was up about 10lb , sounds about right . take into consideration u are not going to get bigger and bigger and stronger and stronger , this is going to come down to how much u are eating , right now im up about 17 pounds and have stopped gaining because im keeping my siet the same pruposely . in other words , i will have to eat more to gain more and get stronger . and once u are bigger , u will have to eat that way continuously to maintain it , its not like once u are done cycle that u can stop eating as much and u will still keep it .
 
the real magic is the food , u have to eat to gain , otherwise u will stay the same size , test wont make u any bigger then what u are eating , but look for signs like smaller tighter not hanging as much testes , acne on u shoulders and back , strength , and quick increases in weight , probably water weight , but continuous training and diet will turn to muscl e

the only way to know with 100% certainty is to either just realize it yourself (which is what i had to do on my cycle and those are the sides i told u about above) or to get a blood test done . i would say give it another 2 weeks , most sure signs at first were that your testes will begin to stop hanging and kind of always stay up very high and tight , mind didnt necessarily get smaller , just the sac get smaller and stops hanging like normal , and the acne that i got on my shoulders was pretty out from normal , alot of red dots like pimples on my shoulders especially . look out for those , strength went up , but nothing i dont think i would point my fingers at test for because i was eating so much its normal for me , but 10lb came on very fast , i was surprised , initial water weight will happoen even if u arent eating as much

fjm1990 just wondering if you track your everylift and excercises on paper, log everything then you can track your progress data cant lie when you see a constat increase in wieght you know your getting stronger, as for me 5 to 6 weeks is when i really feel test e you can always use an oral or test p to kick start during those 5 to 6 wks, dont get discouraged...............peace
 
If you're experienced and know your body very well, you will notice any changes, however slight, even after the 1st week.

If you're 4 week in and don't feel the difference in your gym performance, mood, recovery time, appetite, etc., then I think you're not paying enough attention to your body. I'm 4 weeks in myself and I can tell with every rep I do where every mg of test has gone :D
 
Eat big, get big brother. The test is but a stepping stone. A way to help you bust that plateau. Keep training hard and eat right. You will be good. Make sure to get at least minimum 1per pound of body weight. Example if you weigh 200lbs eat 200grams minimum of clean low fat proteins a day. If size is what you want, the rule I like to use is 2grams of carbs per pound. But if you see your gaining to much fat, this is where you want to tune your intake. Learn your body. Make sure your eating healthy fats too. Like avocados, almonds, olive oil, coconut oil etc. Like fancy said. The food is the magic.
 
Im also on my first test e cycle. Ending week 5 and im getting the strength and size gains now. eating is a second job on aas. I eat everything in sight and keep fat intake minimal. started at 193 and im at 209 right now
 
It's water weight and it isn't a bad thing. At the 4-5 week mark my weight started increasing fast and my hunger got crazy. I listened to my body and upped my cals to 4500 and continued to make good gains. I noticed that strength seemed to come after the mass...
