Not Quite Feeling It Yet

Been on the Maximus "Conservative" Protocall for 30 days now and I am feeling better; but not feeling great. Pinning my Test every 5 days in the Glutes as directed, my HCG twice a week, on the days following my Test injection, Strozle 3 days a week, and B-12 injections on M/W/F's.

So far I've had zero issues or side effects other than some slight chest acne after I went from the delts, to the glutes.

I'm not seeing that great wow new me feeling yet, some of you have posted about when you got on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), nor am I seeing the hungry libedo/morning wood all day long others post about. All input is much appreciated fella's

Only bloodwork will tell what's going on bro, i'd wait a couple more weeks then get some done. Test free test, total test, e2, etc.

What else should he be testing guys

I'm on the conservative protocol as well, almost same as yours but, strozle day after test only and no b12. I just had my 5th shot yesterday. I'm the same as you, no side effects so far but, no wow feeling or the other things you mentioned. I don't really mind though, I think not everybody sees this especially I guess it depends on where your original test was, I guess people that start out with really low-t probably notice it more than others that start with higher t. I'm just guessing. I've seen another post by another maximus member here who never really felt it "kick in" but, he has a log here and he still made huge improvements physically.

I do notice myself working out harder than I was before, not sure if it had to do with the test or not, but when I see myself I feel like a lot of hard work needs to be done to get to where I want to go and so I find myself pushing more. Back then, even though I was working out regularly, it felt more like a "routine" where I would do it because I had to due to pre-diabetes and be kind of glad when it was over, now I look at it as that whatever I do, I have to do more to get to where I want to go. No matter how much I do, it doesn't feel like it's enough.

As long as I don't get any sides, I would be fine with that. I know some people especially ones that aren't with maximus come here complaining about their protocol feeling shitty and not being able to figure out what it is, so as long as I'm not feeling like that, and if everything seems to be on the right track, I'm definitely ok with that. Plus my blood sugar last I checked is at the lowest it has been before test therapy, where fasting blood sugar was averaging in the upper 90's while eating healthy, and 100+ if ate something sugary the day before. Last I checked it fasting was 79 while on t therapy. So, that's another big plus even if I'm not "feeling" it, as long as I'm benefiting from it that's all that matters to me.

Your Aromatase inhibitor (AI) dose seems a bit high at 3 doses a week. You doing 1mg each dose or 1/2?

I'm doing blood work this Saturday. This is my list of things to check have checked, but I forgot the last 2 for the upcoming test. This is everything that I can think of. FYI the Cholesterol is something that I wanted to keep on eye on, so I threw that in there.

To make sure that I'm getting an accurate test, I'll be fasting for 12 hours before, nothing but water in the morning, not even vitamins, and a 9:30 am test.

I've been on TRT/HRT now for 10 months, the last few months with Maximus. I haven't felt the big energy or libido some others feel either. Perhaps it's just me, or perhaps I still haven't found the right combination of doses. I do feel better, sleep better, and I actually see results at the gym which I never did before. So I'm sticking with TRT/HRT.

Wolf & dfeat, I was also thinking I should get a blood test. I called Labcorp who has an office less than 10 miles away and they told me they do not take walk in's, I have to be referred ? They suggested I register on-line with Access labs, or Request A Test ? I just wanted to get a reasonably priced blood test to see where my test levels, and my E2 is at and I will run Chips test at the end of my 12 weeks.

Anyone have in insight on walk-in labs for blood tests ? Also is there a specific test I should ask for ? I know I need Test and E2, what else ? I told the receptionist I was on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) replacement before she could tell me they dont take walk in's.

DJ, I am taking 1 MG; what are the effects of too much Aromatase inhibitor (AI) ?

Frustrated, who is doing your bloodwork ? Thanks Bro

Check out privatelabsmd website. The female hormone panel will suffice for bout 50-60 bucks.

I began testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) (50mg's of Test Cyp - Every four days) in the beginning of October. About 2 months in I got tested for total testosterone only jus' to see if that dose was adequate. So:

2nd day after shot:
Total T = 1055ng/dL (Range 250-1100)

I was quite surprised as I didn't feel any better. Then I decided to get my Estradiol checked up a few weeks later as maybe a possible culprit.

Don't remember the timing of shot:
E2 = 62pg (Range 7-42)

My doctor stated that it was high and wrote me a prescription for Anastrozole. He wanted me to take 1mg/day but I had success with 0.25mg/day before so that's what my protocol is currently: 50mg's of Test Cyp Every four days + 0.25mg's/day of Anastrozole. When I went back in to discuss my labs for my estradiol and to pick up the prescription for the Anastrozole we checked my Total and Free Testosterone as well.

Day 4 of cycle (so I injected after the appointment):
Total T = 540ish (Range 250-1100)
Free T = 155 (Range 35-155)

Sad to say, my biggest complaint - libido - has not changed. I recently joined a gym about two weeks ago and along with eating better I have lost 6 pounds.

He only needs to test E2. E1 and E3 follow different pathways and testosterone is the precursor to E2. Also, it's a waste to test Total Estrogens.

I noticed my libido and erections really improved after my E2 was dialed in and my SHBG was lowered. I think low SHBG numbers which gives higher free test maybe affecting my libido and sex performance in a good way.
