Hey guys, I have noticed that my right side is larger then my left. My bicepts, chest and tri are larger but I feel that my left side is stronger. I am right handed and favor my right side. Is this natural and how can I even up the look of both sides?

I guarantee your the only one who notices. Because your looking for it and want it perfect. That being said Im not really sure how to fix it, maybe train a little heavier on one side, I dont know.

do one extra set for the left side or do one less set for the right side :)

it will even out gradually

Fugazee, I think you will find many people are like this; myself included. For years I tried to even things out and that has never happened; is it possible? Maybe but you will probably go more crazy trying to even it out. This comes down to genetics.

It is not uncommon to be right handed, have larger muscles on that side of the body but being stronger on the left. I have brought up this issue before especially when I could curl 84 lbs with my left once but not with my right.

I once heard a theory that it wasn't that the left side was stronger per say but rather because you are right handed you would be surprised how much you use that side more thus tiring it. That if both sides were used evenly or that both sides were totally rested that you would not find this so. Not sure if this is true as I've never tested it.

Chances are you are the only one that will see this. In fact people who don't workout have this same problem but because their muscles are not as defined they don't see it or notice it. You could try working that side more to even it out, I tried for years, but I think you will find that it is what it is. This is how the body is, all appendages are not equal; slightly longer leg, slightly larger foot, etc.

Basically don't worry about it; just keep lifting.
