Notebooks?

I see some people in my gym and they write down I guessing there reps/sets/weigh. I was wondering how many people actually do this?

Never...I don't like the thought of carrying around a booklet and pen while lifting. (side note...a year and 3 days of pure stalking and no posts...a new record?)
 
Never...always done everything by feel and trial and error.
Training and diet...it ain't that hard or I'm not that anal about it.
 
I used in back in high school, and have just started using one again a few months ago. I just write down what I did every workout, and keep a food journal.

I like it, cause you can always go back and check what weight and reps you need to hit a PR, and for the first time ever, due to my food journal I'm able to tell what works best for my body nutrition-wise.

I don't carry it around at the gym. I think that's stupid. It's hard to remember what you did an hour earlier, LOL. I keep it at home.
 
I dont write down anything unless im on a particular training program and i have to because it's to difficult to remember everything. I am thinkin bout starting DC training pretty soon, so i will probably start doing it then since you almost have to with that kind of training. I do think that it helps alot of guys because you make sure and have progressive overload in every workout.
