Obtaining gear locally..

Dont get this wrong, I am just looking for conversation. I am stocked up on gear for a long time, and homebrew everything. I am not looking for advice.


To you guys who buy gear locally;
How did this come about?
I live in a town of 250k, so its pretty small.
I only know a handful of people who use aas.
3 are my friends, and a couple other who are friends of friends. We have a pretty big athletic college program here, and I am posotive there is more users out there in this town, but it doesnt really concern me.

I goto one of the bigger gyms known for housing alot of the "big" guys, and there is a couple that I see frequently that HAVE to be using aas. hahah.

Anyways, I had a buddy offer me some locally and he wanted an obscene amount of money for a basic test/dbol/clomid cycle.
I am talking a 4 digit number.

Which is just outrageous.
So my question for discussion is, where you are at, is gear an acceptable thing to talk about in the gym with friends. Im not talking about being all sorts of public about it, but do guys who are clearly using ass recognize eachother and openly talk about it?

Do people just approach you in the gym and offer to sell you aas?

I know my town is small, but just curious what our world of aas is like in bigger cities and such.

My old high school gym buddies and fellow ball players are my ONLY local connect. And I only trust one of them. Any real info/advice/suppliers for me is from the www.

Btw, I live in Dfw. I know there are hookups here esp at the gym. But I'd never approach anyone in public. The old state of Texas has taken enough of my time/money!

Im in Nebraska. about 20 mins away from a town of 450k people, and then our town being the 2nd biggest @ 250k people.

I would never want to sell stuff to people I don't know, and thats not what I am asking about.

I just always picture gym's in big towns having guys walking around talking about aas, selling eachother stuff, and talking about sources etc etc. lol.

Oh yeah I kinda picture that too. Not here though. My city is about 700k and i would say aas is generally frowned upon. At least in my networks of ppl. Then again I lift at a damn 24 hr fitness. Maybe I should switch up my gym and meet some new friends lol.

Keep going to the gym, people then reconize that your getting bigger. They gossip about it, they ask. you hint but not tell. Then you later on ask them down the road. if they look like they can be trusted. do your research on the person. ask some people do you know who that it is and see what they say. stalk him on fb see what he does for a living and if all is well you got a costumer. all imo opinion when you give him training lessons

If they sweat like a pig when working out like me.....they may be juicing? I often wonder if people think that about me b/c I leave the gym with a sweat towell and two soaked shirts. I actually saw a guy at the gym the other day with his veins popping on his forearms and I was wondering if he was on Winstrol (winny) or something.

i live in a pretty big city i think .. and have frequented a few diferent gyms... i really dont talk to ppl at the gym too much though .. but i do over hear sets of buddies talking about cycles and what not, in the open with no problem .. but after hearing stupid shit like "im just gona run a dbol cycle this time", and "im taking 2cc of tren every week, das it!!", etc etc .. it makes me not want to talk to any of these fuktards...

most of the ppl selling the shit dont know what they are selling to begin with.. they just want you to buy a bunch of shit.. local PR around here is usualy 100-150 per vial of almost anything.. from prop,enanthate, tren ace, deca , etc.. fuking rip offs and usually shitty gear..

Yeah, ive always used local but now it's expensive, I source online now but before I met my source it's a piece of piss in the city. Once you go to a gym for a a month or two and you've got a good rep with the guys you just bring steroids into conversation, they ALWAYS know someone that can get. I don't know a bloke at the gym that can't... Now I'm in a small country mining town it's different, I've got one local and it was someone I grew up with who brews that happens to work for me but stocks enough to push onto customers. It's abit like anything controlled really, go to the place where the market is there for it and your bound to find people

There is this kid who is probably in his 20's who works here at the local GNC and he has made some comments that he may know a guy who knows a guy but there is know way I would want to get rapped up in that. I live about 2 miles from the place. Taboo too close to home

Here bro, steroids are more easily obtained locally then weed, coke or any other banned substances of the sort, but I guess that's why the price is so high also, everyone getting greedy.

I've had dudes come up and start talking about routine etc; and over the course of a few conversations AAS come up. After a few more butt sniffing episodes they will ask or offer. When they ask, I always play the "Im natural" card.
With that said I bought one time at the gym and it looked nasty (see my post in the picture section titled "mouse urine" and cost X2 the price I was paying on the net.

Best way to do it is to get introduced through a mutual friend, that way both parties trust each other.

Funny thing once happened to me, the gym I work out does not have many big guys. I usually see a juicer once a month or less. One guy had a band aid on his bicep. I complimented him on his physique and asked if he cut himself shaving, whilst pointing at the band aid on his bicep.
We both smiled and knew whats up. Been in touch with the guy from time to time since.

It really depends, there are people who get furious if you bring it up, some deny it as much as they can. I guess its all about trust. Make real friends and then the gear talk can commence.

I also have been approached by people looking to buy some. The guy just casually asked if I knew where I could get them.
