Ok, I'm doing it...

There's been a lot of debate of whether or not you can make gains on a pretty-much-liquid diet. So, I've decided for 2 weeks I'm going to find out.

Now, don't get me wrong, I am going to have real food every-now-&-then, but mostly shakes (1/2 cup organic oatmeal, 1 cup organic skim milk, 2 scoops ON whey, 1 scoop of organic-fresh peanut butter and a couple ice cubes).

I understand everybody's body reacts different, but this will just be one example.

I'm going to get my stats taken prior, during & at completion.

I'll keep everyone updated. It probably won't be for a week (have to get all stats complied), but it's going to be real soon.

your results dont really suffer. you just need to space out the "meals" so that dont dont get big peaks and valleys in your macros throughout the day any carbs that are in liquid form or that form a semi-homogenous suspension in liquids are by nature, going to be metabolied faster so this is quite important

well to tell you all it does work i started injecting sus 300 1cc a week and since then i haven been able to really eat anything. befor i started i ate everything in the house now i just can't eat so i just been drinking my shakes 4 a day with liquid protine and some vitamins and creatine. find it hard to beleive but i'v packed on 7 pounds in the last two weeks and thats a soild 7 pounds no fat. just to tell u that if you do start this diet expect to spend alot of time on the shitter with the runs hahahahahahahaha. as long as u take in atleaste 5 to 6 thousand calories a day it doesen matter.

Fair play to you for being a human guinea pig, but are you on cycle? If not how much would you expect to gain in 2wks anyway? I wouldnt have thought it possible to gain more than 1/2 lb of LBM natural in 2 weeks.

EDIT - what i mean by that is, "is it not going to make it hard to quantify?"

a solid 7 lbs isn't possible with real food....that's most likely water. And two weeks really isn't long enough to guage, I'd go at least 4-6 to really see.

either way, interesting thread. Keep it up.

as long as all macros and micros are met there should be no reason not to make gains or lose wt depending what the calorie intake is and over all goal of the diet.

Yah, I'm going to make it 6 weeks. Two is nothing really. It's going to be a pain in the ass though...

Will most definitely keep everyone updated.

No, I'm not cycling, so if I can hack it this time when I do cycle again maybe I'll try it then as well.

IT IS POSSIBLE WITH SOME HARD WORK OUTS AND MAKEING SURE YOUR TAKEING ON MORE PROTINE THAN YOUR BODY NEEDS BEFOR AND AFTER YOUR WORK OUTS AND TAKE IN ABOUT 5 TO 6 THOUSAND CALORIES A DAY
I'M LIVEING PROOF.

No. Not unless your new to training or coming back from hiadus.

3.5lbs/wk of only muscle? That would make you bigger than ANY pro in 1 year.
