OK is this correct?

Alleged Fatass!
OK im currently dieting and trying to cut a few more lbs and @ 6'0 195 my......
BMR= 2,017.92 cal +/-
BMR + Weights and Cardio/30min walking = 3,300 cal +/-

Now im currently on a 2,000 cal diet. Now my question is a defecit of 1,300 cal on gym days (lifting/cardio days) wayyy to much or will my off days from the gym where I take in my BRM or lower in cals even it out. Im just afraid im cutting wayy too many cals, even though Im not losing mass.

You can't just post up total cals bro... its not that simple... eating 1,000calories of oats will treat you differently than eating 2 chocolate bars! Dieting is more an art than a science... you really gotta know your body well in order to cut just the fat. Is there any way you can post up your diet so I can have a look at that? I'm sure there are a few things we can tweak to help you lose some of that fat if that's your goal!

I will finish todays calorie intake and this post it later on. I dont have a problem losing the fat, I just feel that I may be able to lose the same amout while not having such a caloric defecit at the end of the day and robbing my body of precious protein and stuff it can use.

I think thats way to big a deficit. And that BMR sounds a bit low for you. We are close in size, I'm about 10-12lbs heavier, and I eat around 3000cals while cutting.

But unfortunately, the only real way to find out is trial and error. I would start out with a much smaller deficit, and then evaluate your progress. If you not losing fat, increase the cardio or start to drop your cals....SLOWLY.......

I think I may up my cals to 2500/ed so that I have roughly a 500cal defecit after cardio and lifting.

popichulo....hom many cals you getting in a day when you bulk??
Damn bro im a sloppy bulker I just eat whatever I please whenever I please, probably somewhere around 4000 or more easy.

i think im gonna try to just eat whatever when i bulk also. mickey d's, wendys, taco bell, kfc, the whole shabang.

does doing this really work for you??

It works but I really try not to put on too much weight I desire to stay fairly lean even when bulking, but by the way it looks after cutting up It has been working pretty good.

In my humble opinon should definitly up your calories to at least 2500. I would not exceed a weight loose of more then 1 kg/week.

I'm with beaf. Tried it once. The body metabolism slows down and burning fat becomes harder and harder and you just get more demoralised.
