Thanks 3j that's really helpful. I'm pretty sure I've got a good grasp of what I need get and how to use it. Still about a month away so I'm gonna keep researching but I got just these two more questions.
1) Do you think add hgh for the required six months w a well planned test cycle would be do able. Not that I'm hell bent on using multiple things first shot, it's because the accident was on a motorcycle when someone cut me off flew 100 ft away got banged up bad so I know when my activity level increases things are going to pop up so I wanna get something with good healing benefits
2) for the bjj guys out there... What u think about doing 2-3 no gi session no rolling for a month and 2 beginner gi class. Maybe I can throw in some muay thai. I intend to lift 4-5 days on a split program with alot of stretching and a couple 15-20 min light slow swimming?
I just saw a vlog where sadik does cardio 2dlx a day and weights 2x a day for his prep. Im sure you will be ok doing weights and bjj.
Repo. Is that osteo Bi a psl product or is it here in Canada that you know of?
I see no reason why you couldn't do both. Just listen to your body. Get plenty of fish oil or what ever you want to take for your joints. And cool it on 1 or both of you start having problems.
One thing I can tell you is don't train your shoulders for size if you're gonna stick with Bjj . Big shoulders are a problems as your are far more susceptable to being choked out or caught in a triangle.
Strong shoulders are good, but keep them normal for Bjj. I'm a former jj student and teach close combat courses from my former career as a police officer. Yes I said a former police officer.![]()
so you want to lift, and do 3 no gi session a week plus box??
are you trying to gain muscle on this cycle?? if so youre going to need to be eating alot of calories...
right now i do 6-8 bjj sessions a week, and because of possible tendinitis i dont lift in the competition season..
but 6-8 two hour bjj sessions puts my calories up there.. im currently cutting at 3500 calories
some great advice here..
ill add this, i wouldn't bump up to 2x a day training - i wouldn't add anything i couldn't do while off cycle
fall into a good routine, good habits.. then increase your intensity carefully and incrementally with feeling out your recovery time, how your body responds - so you don't waste time money effort and overtrain
I've found that if you start a cycle with a set of " ideas" about what you want to do, you can lose out big time on the real possibilities because of the things your mind has already latched onto.
so, have a good solid routine, solid habits.. then use the cycle to push as far past the limits of what you can do as possible - its all about recovery and being familiar with your body, pushing yourself to be the best you can be.. less about ideals and the supposedly magical powers of aas
you sound like you're doing your research and open to taking advice, best of luck friend
