On TRT looking to possibly add HCG help appreciated

Hi guys

read the thread on HCG + TRT for fertility on the homepage.

Im pescribed 250mg test every 10 days but in the UK they don't value maintaining fertility on TRT and when the time comes they will just try and get you fertile then. Not great!

I asked about adding HCG but the endo said i would have to pay for it and it would cost around 3k...Im thinking it would be cheaper to just buy it myself underground.

Whats your thoughts?

I have no clue on whats a reasonable level to run, how would you even know if its working?

*Also note i got my gf pregnant 6 months into TRT by thinking id be infertile... guess its still working to some extent.
*also note i had sperm stored for 10-15 years so not sure its relevant to bother anyway... just be nicer to do it naturally

Common dosage is 500 to 1000iu per week, usually split in at least 2 doses.
In clinical settings, doses as high as 5000iu in a single dose are not uncommon. Hence the availability of 5000iu single use ampules.
Maybe your docs high cost estimate is based on a dosage that doesn't apply. See if you can find out the cost per 1000iu.

Hcg is a must. You will figure out on trt after a while you just need it if you want to enjoy sex.

Haha so far haven't noticed any less enjoyment but fair enough, I'm also having issues with low DHEA and high cortisol, think the backfill from HCG may help?

Yes i could ask, i feel as though in the UK it may be simpler to just self medicate HCG?

would you advise trying to convince a stubborn uk doc to let me buy it private script or just get it myself and tell him iv added it? then see if he gives script

Would you also supplement DHEA/PREG alongside HCG?

I'm being treated by a doctor that specialized in TRT, (extra two years training). I take 50mg of DHEA daily and HCG which helps produce DHEA . I'll leave the PREG part of question to others.
