opening AMPS.

I've been having trouble opening some amps I have.
They do not have the piece of rubber going around them so they can just pop right off with a clean break...

Last one I tried to open shattered all in to my hand.

What can I do to open these nicely?

i score mine with scissors a few rotations and then snap the top off. you can order an amp opener which works great.
