Ok, putting aside the fact that I know virtually nothing of glycemic indexes what you said doesn't make sense to me. How could plain oatmeal be a low glycemic index food when chewed but not when blended. Blending doesn't change the chemical composition of the food, it only does what my teeth are supposed to do and that is grind the food for easier breakdown and absorption into my body. If you insist that you know what you're saying then I'll accept that since, as I said, I know virtually nothing of glycemic indexes. But I think you might want to rethink the whole oatmeal thing.

right on

I too was confused by this. I know that plain old-fashioned oatmeal is low-glycemic wether it's chewed or blended. The only thing that might change it is if you add sugar or something else to it.

so you are trying to tell me that a slickly-marketed product with an abundance of ARTIFICIAL ingredients is better for me than organic peanuts? that's freaking ridiculous.

NO----never said that. I said "Skippy's Carb Options Peanut Butter is so damn good it's scary!!3 carbs /per 2 tablespoon serving!!!"

If you would have been paying attention to the original question "well , i love peanut butter with my protien drinks will it be fatting in the long run" you wouldn't have made such an assumption!

I gave him my spin on Skippy's Low Carb P-butter. An option verses P-butter, that's all! I personally HATE the taste of natty P-butter and fell in love with the low carb stuff so I thought I would share! Fucking SUE me  It IS a low carb P-butter whether or not you care to admit it!!! And a great option for us dieting (low carbs). YES---the oils do not mae this product an 100% perfect choice but I do JUST FINE not being an idiot who obsesses about every tiny little fragment of macronutritional dilemas!

If you care to post YOUR daily eating regimine, I'll be glad to rip it to shreads!!! Guaranteed!

NO ONE eats 100% perfect 100% of the time. If you did, you be busy writing books on this very subject and giving guidance via seminars all around the world.......but I guess posting at this board suffices for you?

Next time----be more respectful!
