Pellets vs Injection vs Gel

You should get copies of all your labs run before you started taking T, so that you can hopefully avoid rerunning all of them, and that whole BS of stop taking T so I can get a baseline. You should then call up your local compounding pharmacies and ask them who has been prescribing T and/or the ancillary medications like anastrozole and hcg. You should ask if they recommend anyone in particular. Other than that, you just have to "doctor shop". I know it sounds like a bad term, but it's just the reality of the situation. Be honest....to an extent, meaning don't offer up info. that you used steroids before or something like that...(: But, don't try to tell them how to do their job. Just offer up what you have read, and would like to "try".

Ps. you could probably call a regular pharmacy and ask the same questions as you did the compounding pharmacies. I don't think I would call my regular pharmacy though. (:

Well that is what I am going to do starting this week.

The doctor wants me to try doing 200mg twice a week at home, Tuesday night and Friday morning. I will do that. And I am willing to do it for life if that what it takes.

Extremely high dose man. I have never heard of anyone taking that dose for TRT. I would start at something lower. Guys usually do 200 mg a week at the most.

I want to thank all of you for your help and concern. I have thought about it all day. I think that you are right. I don't think that I should take 400mg a week. I think that I should take 100mg every 3.5 days like you suggest.

My doctor (who did say that she has little experience with TRT) started me on a 400 mg injection initially, then another 400 mg at 2 weeks and another 2 weeks later. Frankly, I felt great. I was supposed to go to 400mg monthly after that.

Instead I went to sub q twice weekly totaling about 140mg/week. I still felt great, every bit as good. Test was about 1250 but the doc thought my free test was too high and suggested I try about 120mg/week.

At that point I was going away and would have no opportunity to work out, so I dropped dose all the way down to about 100mg/week. Test was just over 900. I still felt very good, but perhaps not quite as good (perhaps-hard to tell for sure). Now I am going to move up to about 120mg/week and see how I feel on that.

The point is that even 200mg/week is still a lot. Give it a try, but you may find that it is more than you need.

sub cue vs. IM

I Don't want to blow your mind but you can inject IM with insulin needles too. This is what I do, virtually painless and scarless ;). IM works for everyone, subQ doesn't seem to work for everyone. Wouldn't chance my T levels, but glad it's working for you

I did subcue and it took me more a month to get my levels back up once they dropped like a bad habit. Sucked.

for me creams sucks did not work for me with bad experience, I haven't tried pallets yet, but old school injection is way better big time..

A month on 100mg every 3.5 days with 0.5mg anastrozole. 500iu hCG every 3.5 day. SubQ. I'm scrawny and have did my stomach, "love handles", and the fat I can grab on my But cheek. I can adjust my doses very easy if needed, convienent, supplies coukd basically fit in a shoe box for 20 week supply. I feel better and as of tonight after dinner I think I'm up 10 pounds. I take my record weights in the morning after a crap but before eating. Frequent smaller injections are tried and true.

I've never found anything showing those doses are a very serious risk to a reasonably healthy male. Labs to check levels and fine tune.
