PELVIC MUSCLE...do u know it ?!

pharon

...always bulking
2 weeks ago while i was training my legs i hurt my back real bad that i couldnt continue as it was hard to even stand still..!!
i was complainin abt my tri's too so i stopped training for two weeks while i was on trip outta town...
anyway, wen i went back to training my tri's were just fine but my back hurts like b4 that i hardly could stand so the doctor told me that i've torn a muscle attached to my pelvic and told me that i cant go to the gym for a while..
i dont wanna stop because this means that i'll stop trainin for a month while im in my last week of test cycle.
i think i still can train my bis, tris, delts and bench.... NO back or legs

i was wonderin guys, did any of u torn this muscle b4 ?
and do u think its okay to act stupid and just go train?

How does he know you tore it? Did he do ultrasounds or anything? Did you completely rip it off?
My guess is you've hurt your quadratus lumborum, it connects your last rib to your pelvic bone. Try laying on a tennis ball to massage this area and see if it feel any better after a few days.

he did a couple of x-raies and did some physical exams u know,, like stretching my legs towards my back and ask if it hurts and so....
he said he needs to see me after a week

i dont remeber wat i've torn exactly qoz my mind was thinkin abt how long im gonna be off :redhot:
i'll ask him next time...

and stinn,, if i can lay on a tennis ball wiz this pain i got,, i wouldnt post this thread..!
maybe i'll try this wen it gets a little better

where do you feel the pain exactly? is it center of the back or towards the sides? inbetween ribs and pelvis?
I've had alot of back issues and know just how sensitive the area can really be.

well you can try resting but I'd suggest seeing an ART practitioner or an RMT who specializes in Trigger Point Therapy.

if u have a history wiz back injuries,, wat did u usualy do?
forget abt it a keep on trainin !
or it depends on how bad it hurts?

i was hopin u say that u just ignored it  lol

fixin it myself seems kinda hard for me,, but i'll give it a try thou

i tried ignoring it but it never fixed itself, it would get a bit better for a while but never completely better.

i've trained my delts last nite, and this morning my back is killin me :(

im gonna check wiz my doctor by the end of this week, i dont wanna tell him that i went to the gym qoz he told me not to... but i better do !
