post cycle T3 and depression

Warmachine

Your Girls Pay my Bills
so i stopped the t3 last friday, i did ramp down a little for a few days but not like many suggest. i have been told to just stop instead, so i ramped down for only a couple days.

anyway every day at different times i am suddenly depressed. it usually passes quickly but is very unpleasent. like tonight it happened in a bar while i was with a new girl. i actually sprouted a couple tears, which can be a good thing but didnt work real well on old girl. then a double jose set me straight.

anybody else notice this? how long does it take before you are normal again? its a bad combo when youre on tren, thats all i can say.

Not sure why you came to the conclusion that T3 is to blame. Consider the huge hormonal shift your body just went through.

I don't think he's into post cycle therapy (pct) yet.

May just be the emotional rollercoatser Tren in known to cause? Never heard of T3 causing depression.

ok, i guess i wasnt clear enough. i stopped just the t3. thats it. the test and tren are going strong. i have been fine until i dropped the t3, and ive noticed that everyday (today was just a little-getting better!) i get real depressed for a short time. it is similar to how clomid makes you feel but shorter in duration.

ive read that depression is a symptom of hypothroidism, and right now i should be hypothyroid. i just wondered if anyone else had noticed this.

War machine, I talked to my doc. the other day about hypothyroidism because I was having panic attacks. He informed me that it can cause anxiety and depression. I am guessing by messing with the uptake of seratonin. If it persists get on a ssri.

if I ever felt depressed after coming off of T3, it's because I thought I was getting fat quickly.

Tren in itself can be an emotional rollercoaster, and it's going to amplify the effects of anything else that might be causing depression. if hypothyroidism truly does cause anxiety and depression as stated above, I could see you having the side effects you described above.

Just read this. You are aware that tren itself hinders thyroid production, right?

So you quit T3, and were still on tren (among other hormones), so do you think your thyroid had an easy time recovering? Not likely. Might be something to consider next time. Additionally, I've used t3 several times without tapering down (at lower dosages, under 100mcg/day) with no rebound at all.
