pct on trt

does one need to pun a pct if on lifelong trt?? im thinking clomid and or aroma sin cant hurt but wanted to here from experts

Again, this is where so many guys really get confused. Trt is not a steroid cycle. Pct is just that...... "post cycle therapy". To be administered after YOU HAVE FUCKED YOUR BODY UP WHILE ON A STEROID CYCLE. IF YOU ARE ADMINISTERING testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) THE PROPER WAY, YOU WILL BE TAKING A PROACTIVE STANCE AGAINST ALL OF THE SIDES THAT NORMALLY MANIFEST THROUGHOUT THE COURSE OF A STEROID CYCLE. WHEN YOU ARE PREVENTING PROBLEMS BEFORE THEY HAPPEN, THERE IS NO NEED TO HAVE TO FIX THEM DOWN THE ROAD. HOPE THIS MAKES SENSE AND HELPS. :biggthump

A PCT is used to manage the transition from being on a cycle (which would typically be far more aggressive than a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) program) to being off a cycle and back to your normal daily life.

With testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), you are not doing "cycle's". Instead of a super aggressive regimen for a short period of time, you are using a sustainable program which stays the same every day/week/year unless it becomes necessary to make adjustments.

So, the obvious answer would be that you don't need "post cycle therapy" if you aren't going to experience a "post cycle" period at all.

To be clear, though, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) will definitely change the way your body produces and regulates hormones. If you were to stop testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) at some point, it is my understanding that you may need something like a PCT to carefully get your body back on track.

Exactly what happens when you're on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for a long time, and what permanent changes may take place even if you stop, is a subject that I know far too little about. It's the #1 thing that I need to know more about before I would commit to it. I'm just paranoid about never being able to produce even 300ng/dl naturally again, just in case.

I guess i didnt post my question properly.
i meant if i were to do a cycle, say 500mg test only, would post cycle therapy (pct) be neccessary even though i would continue with my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) after the cycle. im thinking no,but felt asking cant hurt.

What you are talking about is a blast and cruise. This is not TRT. You will get much better help in the AAS forum. Good luck to you.

No post cycle therapy (pct) necessary if you truly on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) (in the sense that you'll be on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for life). Just note that ancialliary dosages/timings might need to change, and that post-blast bloodwork is still a good idea.
