Precriptions. Do They Cover Your Ass???

Let's say that a person gets put on probation where he/she knows that they will be tested for Anabolic Steroids. Let's also say that in order to cover his/her ass in preparation for that time, he aquired a prescription from a Hormone Replacement Therapy Clinic. This person only did that in order to show the PO that he indeed has a legitimate prescription for these substances, and therefore is not doing anything illegal, or violating any rules of his/her probation. This person also plans to continue to use black market steroids(only TEST though, as that is what the SCRIPT covers), in order to save money.

QUESTION IS: Does this prescription cover your ass if you get steroid tested by your probation officer?

I would think if the testing came back in some what "normal" ranges, you would be OK, but if they came back showing twice the "normal high" range, you'd be in violation.

It aint me. The terms of the probation, are that this person not use controlled substances, or alchohol. If he/she has a script though, doesn't that bridge the gap between crime & legality?

In other words, you wouldn't be allowed to use opiates, but if you just had your wisdom teeth out, you are obviously going to get some PK's prescribed, right? So in that instance, if you got tested, you would be able to provide a script for Vikes(for example), to back why you failed the test. To me, the script for the Test is the same. Yes/No?

Well, let's ay that the Prescription Test would be kept in the house, and the others would not. The PO WILL test for AAS, but a script is available to back their useage up. The script is for Depo-Test.

HUH?! Bro, the results obviously are not going to come back in "normal ranges". Dude will be on test! The question is, is that WHEN he tests popsitive for elevated Test levels, BUT has a script to back the administration of synthetic test(he has the script onhand), can they fuck you?! You have a legal prescription for the drug. Again, I use the opiate testing/wisdon teeth pulling example as comparison.

Trust me I know this stuff VERY well. If you have the script and a bottle of depo-test they cannot fuck you. PO's well 99.9% will not know test ratios so you will be fine. If they know you are on that they may and i say may become suspicious why you have a script. have you used any long acting esthers lately? keep the other stuff somewhere else. dud you are fine TRUST ME on this area of expertise

That's what I thought too. The script was through a "Hormone-Replacement-Therapy Clinic", where dudes files are onhand to back the use of Depo-Test, so I don't think there could be any fallout about that, but who knows. I highly doubt any probation officer would be responsible, or even interested, or even KNOWLEDGABLE as to how to go about persuing that type of thing.

Dude might have used some Deca like 4-5 months ago. He won't be put on probation for awhile though(he said maybe a year until this gets resolved), so that isn't a real concern either. Thanks officer!

I mean.. i've done a number of drugs in my day and known lots of people that have (not AAS) and the only people that got caught were those smoking dope in the park or in their car driving around town, or selling shit to everyone in the same small town... How do people get busted if they use it in the privacy of their home?

I just got off probation about 2 months ago and the whole time I was on, I only got 1 piss test. It was a test that they did right there in the office and I asked and the woman told me that it only tests for marijuana, cocaine, and meth. I told her that I had a script for adderall and it will show up as meth but when she did the test, it came back neg for all 3 substances. She said that it only shows positive when you have very high levels of methamhetamine in your system. She said that it is "more focused toward the dirty street drugs." I knew she didn't know what the fuck she was talking about so I just acted stupid and was like "oh ok." I would think that unless the person in question got in trouble for Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) that he will not be tested for it. If the person did and is being tested for that then it will probably be sent off to a lab for testing in which case it will come back with a testosterone level that should be in the range of what's being prescribed by the doc. Like stonecold said, if it's twice the high range for whats prescribed then more than likely they will know. Most Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) docs prescribe 300mgs per week max but thats based on the patients lab tests. I would say that if the person thats on probation insists on running a little "extra" test then the safest thing would be to use a short estered test like suspension along with the prescribed Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Then, come test time, just drop the suspension about 3-4 (maybe more) days before the test days to let test values drop to the "normal" prescribed range. This is just my opinion and I've never actually done this so don't take my word that its safe. I'd ask a cool doc and see what he thinks.
