prescription drugs effect on body.

i have a question about prescription drugs and how they effect your diet. The actual drug in question is oxycontin, i was prescribed them awhile ago, but now that i'm working out heavily again, and will be starting a cycle very soon.Taking them definitely has a major effect on my stomach, and well, my appetite in general. I'm curious how it effects digestion, and my body's general ability to use the nutrients i'm eating? Thanks,
