Guys,

Not sure where to post this but I'll give you a quick rundown, Been suffering from Low T, and high estrogen for a while (3-4 years and i'm 23). Took clomid and tamoxifen for a while, off of those now and only on an Aromatase inhibitor (AI). Took arimidex for a while now on aromasin. Testosterone is going up, started at 251 (250-1100) now up to 594 on same scale, and most recent bw im at 640 (scale 241-827, why the diff scale? does that mean on scale of 250-1100 im still around 590? both are in ng/dl) e2 dropped from high 40's to now 25, total estrogens still high aroung 120 (do total estrogens matter if e2 is at 25?) Also free t (134.8 on scale of 35-155 so that seems good).

Anyways all other hormones are good, dhea, thyroid (t4-1.0, t3-3.8 which means t4 is converting to t3), cortisol back to normal, prolactin was high but normal now due to increase in T. I still dont feel as great as I thought i would tho.... so kind of disheartening.

My question tho, is my progesterone a problem? its the only hormone left i can think of that may be out of whack, but because its a precursor to T...wouldnt that mean its in good range cause my t is going up?

Also, does total e really matter? or just e2? my e2 is around 25 which seems to be in range, but my total e is still 120 ( was as high as 170)

Really just trying to figure out why I still dont feel well even with such dramatic increases in t and lowering of e... thanks and sorry for the essay lol

Some things I have read:

Males make progesterone. They need it to make their testosterone and for the adrenal glands to make cortisone. Males synthesize progesterone in amounts less than women do but it is still vital. Men with BPH (benign prostatic hypertrophy) and other male related issues may notice relief with progesterone cream. Progesterone does not produce feminizing characteristics. Progesterone is an 5-alpha reductase inhibitor - it helps prevent the conversion of testosterone into DHT.

Progesterone may also help men with complexion and increased energy. Progesterone balances the estrogens that build in a man's body. Furthermore, it may be important in the prevention and/or treatment of prostatism and prostate cancer.

There are progesterone receptor sites all over the body for men and women. For men, it also seems to be important as one of the regulatory mechanisms in the production of sperm.

Dr Normal Shealy recommends that men who are entering the andropause (the male
menopause) can use natural progesterone cream on the scrotal area to find improvement in mood and libido.

What does this mean?
As a man ages more testosterone is converted to DHT, which has been linked with male pattern baldness and prostate enlargement.

By supplementing with progesterone you are:
• Helping to prevent excessive conversion of testosterone to DHT.
• Offsetting falling progesterone levels.
• Offsetting any increases in oestrogen, which also tends to happen. (The fall in testosterone and an increase of conversion to DHT causes an increase in oestrogen effect to one that is equivalent or greater than post menopausal women’s.

Suggested Use: 1/8th teaspoon per day.
Notes: Take weekends off. That is dose Monday to Friday. Rotate areas of application, use: scrotum, face and neck, inside of arms, backs of knees and palms of hands.

All that clomid and Aromatase inhibitor (AI) stuff shows good on your numbers, but it doesn't alleviate symptoms from what I've seen. You're only gonna get rid of those symptoms by getting on injectable testosterone. Send me an email, I can tell you what IMT offers :) lindsay@increasemyt.com

lol he wants to lower it not increase it

e1 and e3 do contribute to prolactin levels , there are natural reduces that contain an L-dopa antagonist , google or get caber or prami

I don't see a question about lowering it. Is it out of whack? well, the answer is maybe. And if his T is converting to DHT, progesterone may be what is needed to stop that conversation. Prolactin and progesterone are two different things.
