Prohormones at 19 years old?

Hey guys. I know almost all of you are going to tell me to wait to take PH. However heres my story. I am 6'1 and at the moment 190. I do not have a problem gaining weight. I have been lifting for a long time due to being a baseball player. However i do not hit the gym every day and due crazy amounts of weight. I lift to get stronger so my game improves. I don't go to crush biceps. I am a pitcher and throw only about 80 mph at the college level (which is very bad). However i am hoping to be about 86-87 when my cycle is done. I am taking these ph's to improve my performance level. Both of my brothers have taken anavar and dbol. This is a one time thing for me i will not take it again. I know ph's are hard for the body. I will do the pct religiously. let me know what you guys think.

I think steroids would be a hindrance to your pitching power... your only 19 and hitting 80 miles an hour, thats pretty good.. pitching speed power is more about mechanics, should elasticity and just God given talent.... Tim Lincecum, The Big Unit, Chapman... these guys dont look like bodybuilders.... there "lanky & loose".

I was a highly recruited High School QB and took gear to get my 40 time down, however the added bulk messed up my throwing power/accuracy, it was really hard to place the ball where I wanted too and I was never the same QB after that.

a teammate i had in highschool which sat at usually 82-83 jumped up to 90 when he was on it. I play Division one baseball at a very competitive school and with 20 pitchers on the team who all throw over 86 i am left in the dust. Its either i take these ph's to get a chance or my career will end at my dream school. I am not trying to get huge. it will make it impossible for me to pitch. I am not going to overdue it. I am mainly going to due legs but will due arms and chest also.

If your dead set on it, I would do a Testosterone cycle instead.. unless theyre testing you.

If you were to cycle at your age you might see a boost in ability during cycle, but when you come off, you may permanently damage your ability as well as your health.

Learn about translation of force. There's a hell of a lot more to throwing a fast ball than just having strong muscles. Speaking of learning; why not actually spend some time worrying about your education, ya know - the thing that's going to pay the bills once you realize you're not MLB material.

Sorry dude, you've either got it, or you don't. If you're looking at AAS/PH to keep up, what are you going to do when they step up their game?

I think Babe Ruth was a good example of that, big ass stomach, loved to booze and screw everything that moved and he was hitting them out of the park. I dont recall seeing much muscles on that lad.

development is not just about hight... its your whole system, specially your endocrine system and at 19 you potentially have another 6 years of development thats comming, by using PH or straight aas at 19 you will mess up and stopp that development for life and likely need hrt for life...
wait till 25 (atleast 24 IMO)
also read the stickies up top of aas section.
also never oral only or testless cycles (when ready)

Take note that WADA is GREATLY expanding its testing downward into amateur sports - including college and even some high schools. If you pop positive you could end up banned for life. I would not risk it.

I don't really see why your going to take pro hormones honestly I took them when I was 16 sure they got me to 240 pounds by the time I was 17 but still it's your choice dude if it's a one time thing then don't even bother trying them you can't expect to do one cycle and never have to take them again be realistic about it if you decide to take pro hormones then you best either have pct or don't have pct I didn't do pct cuz I was 16 and didn't know any better but it's your call

Thanks for your input :)

I was a pitcher and threw much harder in high school. Here's the truth. It not your testosterone levels. It's your diet, if you can gain the do it naturally.

You need to get real you don't have what it takes to play ball it that level and prohormones aren't going to change that. I was throwing 86 at 15. You are young you have lots of living to do. Focus on your diet. For a pitcher you need to gain slow and steady. At your age I was 6' and weighed 178.

I am assuming you mean that you want a shot at MLB?
From one former D-1 Athlete(I played football at a football powerhouse school) to another, if you need drugs to get your game up, chances are you will not make it. You need god given talent/freak genetics to play at a pro level. If you are already falling behind and there are a bunch of guys that are ahead of you, your chances of playing pro are 0%. I am not telling you to give up but needing to taking PH's just to catch up means you probably will not go pro.

Trust me, I had dreams of going pro too. I also started doing steroids when I got to college in order to try to catch up. But when I got to the next level, I realized right away that this is not high school anymore and there were a shit ton of athletic freaks on the team. However I do not regret it one bit: it was one of the best experiences in my life and I got a free education out of it. Do what I did: Have fun with it. Not too many people get the opportunity to play D-1 college sports.

Beautiful advice from experience. So good to have members who have been there and can help out the younger lads with their bearings.
Dont chase your dream, make your future.

This in spades!

A Degree in a reasonable field should be top of the list. You have better odds in the Lottery than entering the MLB... literally. Throwing 80mph at Collegiate level unless you have some wicked junk or plan to transition into a knuckle baller your best bet is to capture a degree to fall back on. A Career in AAA is ok but sure as fuck not guaranteed to last.

If your risking it to improve your athletic capabilities like others had said it's not worth it.

I might as well take the bat to your nuts, because that's what will happen (well chemically) I had the same idea but megatron set me straight, wait atleast 2 more years and even then start with only a test cycle (shortest ester) to see how you react to AAS

Prohormones are for fags!

Make the most of what god gave you while you can, and save your hard earned cash to pay for a dietician to educate you on proper dieting.

Learn bulking, maintenance and cutting protocols which will stand you in good stead for ever.

If you have any pennies left. Hire the services of a decent PT in your area, and ask him training methods for strength gain and hypertrophy.

In five years time, if you still feel the need to cycle - you'll be armed with enough knowledge to do it properly and really rip shit up!

Great point and many do not know he came into the league as a pitcher and was the best in the major leagues! The only reason he switched was because he coud hit so damn good they couldn't afford not to have him batting every game!
