Prolactin and milk production

Hello. If my prolactin is high, it will cause milk production %100 from breast ?

I also heard high prolactin can cause visual loss. Is that true?

Yes it will cause milk production/leakage as that is its main function but will be less in men. Prolactinomas may press on the brain or nearby nerves. High amounts many cause prolactinoma and may cause symptoms such as headaches and eye symptoms like reduced vision or double vision but is usually held within the peripheral vision sector so goes unnoticed most of the time. Its all about monitoring your doses and keeping them in check.
