Proviron Detection Time

Hi, I am new to the boards and have recently completed a mini cycle: 3 weeks of anavar, followed with a 2 week cycle of proviron. I tapered the proviron and took 50 mg for 1 week followed by 1 week at 25 mg. I looked online and it informed me that proviron was detectable up to 5 or 6 weeks. Is this true given the fact that I took such a small dosage? Note: I am worried about drug testing implemented by the NCAA.

yes it's true. some traces of mesterolone could be found in urine and blood till 6 weeks after a regular took of 50 mg per day for 5 weeks.

I understand that, but my question is whether or not the length of the cycle has any bearing on the detection time? I only took relatively high dosages for a week and then tapered off. The only reason that I even took the mesterolone in the first place was a faulty source who informed that negligible amounts would be out of my system in no time-10 days. If this indeed is the case, is there any methodology of expediting the removal of the mesterolone from the body? -higher metabolism, detox etc?
