questions about trt

cruising
so, just got prescribed. do i understand this correctly, there is no pct because there is no "cycle"? i'd been thinking about a cycle, but hadn't really purchased it yet and was going to wait a while. does cycling when you have testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) mean "blasting and cruising"? that is, i can cycle, and then come down to a "maintenance dose" of t? do you have to PCT if you cycle and come down to TRT?

sorry for so many questions...

If you have low testosterone there is no need for a cycle. The reasoning is because coming off of testosterone and trying to re gain your natural T production won't do you much good because you will be in the same position as when you started, having low T.

The reason why men who do cycles come off is because when you keep your TT levels in supra physiological range, higher than what a human can produce, it affects your health profile negatively. Meaning it will hurt your cholesterol, raise your Hemoglobin and increase risk of prostate cancer. So they have to come off in hopes that the increased risk will go back down.

When you take supplemental doses of testosterone for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) purposes it should not affect you negatively, and coming off will just expose you to the risks of low testosterone.

Hope this helps.

Yea, I should have wrote it won't "directly" increase it, but yes it can raise levels indirectly through various mechanisms
