Questions involving Gear & the effects on Urination(frequency etc).

Ok, this is a bit of complex question but I will do cliff notes at the top(keep in mind in order to understand the cliff notes, you want to read a little background info)

Cliffs:

Worked out since about 16 years old, 30 years old now. Used Gear on & off since about 24-25 years old

On TRT, 150mgs per week. Legitimate low testosterone, not from using steroids & not a genetic condition.

Use of gear causes symptoms of frequent urination, straining to have to go pee...making me essentially not be able to use gear(with some exceptions).

Ok anyways, I didn't use to have this issue. However 4 years ago(as a treatment for depression), I started a medication called Ketamine(which I still take on a daily basis). The reason is because my depression didn't respond to SSRI's & conventional psychiatric medication(believe me, I tried everything including therapy). So I'm greatful for Ketamine, even though it has mostly pooped out..it helped my depression for a solid 2 years. As my dose of ketamine increased(some people grow tolerant to the medication, myself included), I noticed the side effects of increased urinary frequency & also more difficulty starting to pee(kind of straining). This is a common side effect of Ketamine & people who abuse it can cause bladder damage. I had taken dianabol prior to Ketamine & noticed no side effects(involving peeing).

After telling my psychiatrist about this effect, he recommended I go to a urologist just to be safe. She examined my bladder, including putting a camera up my urethra(yes, it's as painful as it sounds) & other examinations, everything came back as healthy. Eventually I tried Stanazolol(this was probably about 6 months ago). After about 2 weeks on Winny, I noticed that I was peeing *even* more frequently & straining harder to go. It took me another 1 1/2 weeks to realize the reason was because of the Stanazolol...as my dosage of ketamine hadn't changed. At this point it was really bad(having to go so often that I couldn't sleep for 5 days). I told my urologist everything & quit the Winstrol the second I realized what was going. She agreed with me that the reason was the combination of Ketamine & Winstrol. She wasn't judgemental at all about using the steroid. She then examined my prostate & she said it wasn't inflamed or enlarged it all(i.e. it was completely healthy) & my PSA's came back low as well.

So my lesson was learned...don't take Winstrol. Anyways, I also had Anavar & Dianabol. I tried Anavar...& the same thing happened. Except I quit it in about 4 days to avoid all the side effects & fortunately didn't have to go the doctor & take pee meds. I thought this was kind of bizarre, since it was Anavar at only 25mgs & I started peeing more in 3 days. Now, since I had tried Dianabol before....& never had side effects(pee related) I thought...I'll see what happens. Within 2-3 days, started having to pee more...so I stopped.

Same thing. Now tried Trenbolone, & the same thing happened...although interestingly with Tren it wasn't as intense, but still annoying enough to cause me to stop taking it(going pee & then feeling like I have to go again 15 minutes later). I had also previously tried tren years ago & didn't notice any issues involving pee.

Now interestingly, Testosterone itself doesn't seem to cause this problem. But since I'm on TRT & get blood tested for it...it's kind of difficult to cycle Testosterone. I also tried Deca & it didn't give me any urinary side effects, but the effects on sex drive are rough(which are also compounded by psychiatric medication...aka erections are possible, from random stuff or giving oral sex...but 95% of the time we put it in vagina they just die...even on Cialis). Because of this Deca isn't preferential.

So the main question is, what is causing the increased urge to pee & difficulty doing so, if the prostate & bladder are completely healthy?
I thought it was DHT, since Testosterone doesn't give me any problems(even at over 400mgs) & Winstrol caused it. But since having the same effects from Anavar, Dbol & Tren....I don't know if the DHT thing is correct. If it is, could I purchase a DHT inhibitor & give that a shot? My urologist said that she thought it was because the drug(Stanazolol) was sending an insult to my body, signaling it to have to pee.

BTW, I believe if I got off the Ketamine, I would still get some of the effects similar to people that have increased peeing, but still tolerate it to get results, it's just alot more extreme on another med which causes these symptoms

Thanks in advance for any help involving my Pee issues, I appreciate the friendly advice that people on this board provide!

I didn't read your whole post thoroughly... But have you had your prostate checked? Thats the likely culprit. Both TRT and cycling especially have been known to cause prostatic hypertrophy. Which will cause difficulties urinating.

the whole androgens damaging prostate myth has been debunked. they have discovered that estrogen is the cause of prostate problems. are you monitoring estrogen? do you have bloodwork?

Yep ^^^.

Consider yourself lucky that you have Ketamine to treat depression... It has been proven to be useful at treating depression at a sub-psycoactive dose for upto a week... You should look into a less frequent dosing protocol. I believe DXM works in a similiar fashion and the mechanism is something via either NMDA receptors or a specific opiate receptor.

The problem may not be the Ketamine but try see how long a single dose of ketamine keeps the depression at bay (like I said, upto a week it has been said) and if it is the cause of all this then well, you also save some money along the way.

No, I haven't been monitoring estrogen levels consistently. I do have bloodwork, but they don't record it.

In response to the above posts, I have had my PSAs monitored & they are normal. I had my prostate examined during the most severe part of the symptoms & my urologist said it was fine. I've thought of having t examined again just to make 100% sure. But if it was from Prostate Hyperplasia, why would I notice symptoms in 2-3 days, that seems very quick for the prostate to grow.

Also, assuming the Anavar was real..it seems wierd that an almost female level dose would cause these symptoms.

Ths is off-topic but:
I, also agree that I'm lucky to be treated with Ketamine. When, Ifirst tried it I noticed my depression reducing within 30 minutes. I think it's criminal that they make suicidal people wait months for meds to work(which may not even work at all), when they have options like Ketamine & Suboxone that could work in hours(even if 1 doesn't work at least they wouldn't have to wait 8-12 weeks to know). I tried to get them prescribed before & Dr after Dr would refuse. My depression was so bad I agreed to do ECT(electroshock treatments) which they immediately started.

Now (because of the shock treatment) I have partal amnesia, going both backward & forward(anterograde amnesia) which means inability to fully form new memories. The ECT made it worse & the meds I requested were not only more effective, but far cheaper. The ECT Dr told me 6 years ago, that the side effects would go away in 3 months.

The Ketamine & Suboxone mostly pooped out, but no Dain Bramage. I'm not anti ECT since it helps some people, but it shows how assbackwards mental health treatment is, & the USA has the best treatmeant in the world. I'm also not bitter, because I would probably be dead if I had to deal with Universal Healthcare like in Europe.

Next visit to the Dr ill ask her to go roto-rooter on the prostate just to make sure, cause I have no idea what else could cause it.
