r-ala?

Here to learn
Anyone used it? I've been researching it lately. I like how it allows more creatine into the muscles as well as carbs. I havent read about any personal experiences though so I wanted to post to see if I could get some. Let me know! Trying to put on some extra poundage dont mind it being water weight. Let me know thanks

very cool. Taking creatine with it or anything else? notice any effects you are having with it such as more strength or weight gain?

Im suprised no weight gains were noticed. I mean from what I read its putting more carbs and creatine thus more water in your muscles. But whatever I think Im gonna give it a go thanks for the input.

i use glucorell with every meal so i can eat anything i want.

r-ala helps you to eat more carbs , get better insulin sensitivity , that can lead to less fat gain , and weight gain , but all that depends on other things that you do

R-ala is said to increase insulin sensitivity.

If extrogenous insulin can lead to a gain in fat, please tell me why r-ala could not do this as well?

glucorell (r-lipoic) modulates the effects of insulin (primarily via ppar-gamma). It actually reduces the lipogenic (fat "making"/storing) effects of insulin.

to clear up your specific misunderstanding, when someone increases insulin sensitivity it means that they need LESS insulin. Since homeostasis is the watchword of most body systems this means that you will produce less insulin as well.

type ii diabetes is when your insulin sensitivity becomes so poor that you cannot produce enough insulin to overcome it (the pancreas's ability and capacity to produce insulin is limited- though that limitation varies-- which is also part of why some extremely obese people dont have diabetes- and other people who only have moderate decreases in insulin sensitivity can have type II- they either dont have a powerhouse pancreas or they have some other glucose disposal issue that exacerbates minimal insulin resistance)
