Read this. It could help you and save you money when buying Whey Protein!

Very cool man . im sure alot of people could learn from this when buying supplements especially at the store . Including myself lol ... i always know what im going in there for , then for whatever reason when i walk in the , im stunned and stuck again lol . Especially if the guy behind the counter tried to tell me or open my options for whatever reason lol . Nicely laid out !

Or simplify the results of the Analysis. Assuming your numbers are right:

BSN is $0.036 per gram of protein and,
BPI is $0.026 per gram of protein.

BPI is 28% cheaper per gram of protein.

Which is why I buy ON in the 10lb bags for 90-100 bucks on amazon when cutting. 3g carbs for double chocolate/vanilla ice cream, 24g of protein, and the big bags still have the original formula. ;)

Good job though, what you've done is not obvious to most! :bigok:

Yeah I didn't want to break it down any more, i mostly did it for fun and becvause i almost bought the BSN but then after breaking it down realized BPI was much better. Its just cool to do because your average guy would just say oh here is 5lbs for $50 and here is 5lbs for $60 and most likely by the cheaper.

Thanks for the further breakdown though.

3 years protein supplement free. Dont need that shit.

Not saying you are but your statement reminds me of what someone who thinks protein supplements are like steroids lol.

Its true you dont need protein just like you dont really need AAS. But it has its benefits.

Cheap. Easy. Macro Friendly. and tastes good etc.

Thanks, its nothing new or anything but im surprised by how many people actually dont do the math before they buy something like this. I always look for the best deal and quality as well.

Might I suggest trying out BPI's ISO HD. I tried it this summer while cutting it has 25g protein,2g carbs,1g fat. (I bought 10lbs for about $95, it was on sale)

I know ON is supposed to be good quality i have actually never tried it though.

Funny how science can use numbers to sell things like this. When you say 28% cheaper per gram it makes it sound even better than price per gram alone.

I dumped the protein powders, I just drink liquid egg whites and still get my 30-40g protein with each serving that I make

Mainly raw foods for me, just the one shake a day....
I'm more bothered about the ingredients than the price.

Ghost - who is that avatar? - Sweeeet :)

Yeah of course whole foods are better. Especially egg whites. But when you're in college or at work on the go etc. Its easier to put some protein powder in a ziplock bag and use it later, plus it tastes better too.

People rely way to much on shakes. They are mind fucked by supplement industry. You dont need that shit. Spend your money on chicken, steak, and tren.

I've tried it and found it to be pretty good. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it was really sweet for the two flavors I tried (cookies and cream, banana cream pie), the other powder that's really close was made by cellucor, which surprised me. I tried the cinnamon swirl, and liked it - but it's often pretty damn spendy. :( ON just tends to be a good combination of taste, macros, and cost. I do want to say that I'm always looking for better though! :D

If you can think of a way to get 96g of protein, 12g of carbs, 4g of fat, and 480 cals (minus the almond milk I use) for less than $2.60 as a breakfast that's ready in about 2 minutes - I'm all ears. ;)

I still eat another 200g of protein from whole food sources, but I just can't overlook the cost efficiency and macros with the time savings that comes from shakes. (comes to 0.0267 per gram HI TRON!)

I think I read somewhere, but can't find it now, that drinking egg whites isn't as beneficial as cooking them. It had something to do with you not being able to absorb all the protein of the uncooked egg whites. Is there truth to that or did I read a bunch of crap?

Funny, I spent all afternoon trying to figure out what brand of protein to buy and which one was going to give me the best bang for my buck. I ended up going with BPI with the BOGO deal. Had I come to this site yesterday I would've saved myself about 2 hrs of research!! :wallbash:

this is one of the reasons why I shop at costco for my whey. They show you the price per ounce already on the price tag, takes all the excess math out lol.

Glad i could help. I always tend to buy whats on sale as long as it is a reputable brand with good ingredients.
