Read this. It could help you and save you money when buying Whey Protein!

People rely way to much on shakes. They are mind fucked by supplement industry. You dont need that shit. Spend your money on chicken, steak, and tren.

Not necessarily relying, but convenience.

If you can think of a way to get 96g of protein, 12g of carbs, 4g of fat, and 480 cals (minus the almond milk I use) for less than $2.60 as a breakfast that's ready in about 2 minutes - I'm all ears. ;)

And boom! Already a post on the convenience.

this is one of the reasons why I shop at costco for my whey. They show you the price per ounce already on the price tag, takes all the excess math out lol.

I think his point was that price per ounce is not the best way to look at it as not all ounces are created equal. Price per gram of protein is a better way to compare different options.

Exactly. You cant go based off of weight/price. You should go based of of macronutrient content.

If you get 5lbs of cocaine for $125,000.00 from dealer 1 but dealer 2 sells 5lbs for $80,000.00 you would say oh well lets buy from dealer 2. Yet dealer 2 cut his down to half cocaine and half flour and lets just say dealer 1 is 100% cocaine then which one is really a better deal?

You don't look at the weight of what you are buying you look at how much of the ingredient you are wanting is in there.

You are buying the protein powder for the protein correct?

You can buy 2,112g of protein for $75.00 or you can get 3,504g of protein for $90.00.

With BSN you get 1,056g of protein for $37.50. (IF YOU BUY TWO TUBS)

With BPI you get 1,752g of protein for $45.00. (if you buy two tubs)

So in all if you choose BPI over BSN you get an extra 1,392g of protein.

For the cheapest price you would pay $37.50 to get 1,056g of protein.

Pay only $15.00 more and you get 1,392g of protein. Thats a whole extra tub of BSN plus some for only $15.00!

I know this is repetitive but i dont know how to make it more simple for you to understand? (Just trying to help people out)

Which you you rather buy?

Scoop 1 = $0.78
Protein: 22g
Carbs: 15g
Fats: 6g

Scoop 2 = $0.62
Protein: 24g
Carbs: 2g
Fat: 1.5g

Now for just one scoop $0.16 isn't a big deal breaker hopefully. But maybe the 13g of carbs less is? Or the 75% less fat? Now multiply that $0.16 by 146. Multiply the 13g of fat by 146. and multiply the 4.5g of fat by 146. So even if you got the same number of scoops and take away the price difference which one has more protein, less fat, and less carbs?

If you lose a $5 bill on the street its not a huge deal but now lets say you lose a $5 146 times, it gets a little worse. I hope you see my point here lol.

that is some expensive stuff. Your getting ripped off.

lol I knew someone would say something about my price to weight ratio on my cocaine analogy. I don't do coke i was just trying to give a different example.

Look into MyProtein. Best price around if you buy the 11lb bag. Shit doesn't taste too good in vanilla, but the macro count and amino profile is solid

I've always went with ON, until this time. Gonna try muscle tech phase 8. Plus there was a BOGO sale going on, and I've been wanting to try something new.

I just realized this! You're on a steroid forum, bashing people for buying protein powder. Would this be irony, or ignorance?

Your all very foolish. Dont buy whey consentrate. Whey isolate post workout is the only thing that is absorbed fast enough post workout to take advantage of the anabolic state. Replenishing up to 76% percent of glycogen used while working out.

I Advocate a raw diet with naturaly farmed foods, grass fed high fat, high fiber , low carb with the use of suppliments to maximize nutrition.

In addition to what The Dreaded One said, if you have ANY lactose issues at all, whey concentrate is something to be avoided. Whey concentrate is something like 99.9% lactose free - and then they CONCENTRATE it. Yep, the 0.1% gets increased dramatically in the concentration. Trust me on this, I am VERY lactose intolerant (cannot eat an entire milk chocolate bar without UN WMD inspectors arriving at my house). Whey concentrate causes me gas and bloating while when isolate does not.

When it comes to lactose, I am the proverbial canary in the tunnel.

Sam's Club and Costco have really good prices for whey... I get 5lb for a little
under $40.
