Requesting a bit of Contest prep cycle help - Test & Anavar

I'll be doing my first show while taking a very mild cycle.

I am currently taking 200mg test cyp twice per week
The day before each shot I do 500 iu HCG
Also taking Arimidex as needed
Letro on hand in case of gyno.

I plan on adding 50mg of Anavar per day starting 12 weeks out.

My question is about the correct protocol for the Testosterone and HCG

I have read that switching to Test prop or eth 6-8 weeks out due to water retention, then increasing Arimidex and letro the last 4 weeks to help dry out.
I am still not sure about the HCG and testosterone in general. Do these stay the same through the show? Do they get dropped?

What would you guys suggest?

drop the test cyp 3 weeks out, and will be a good idea to drop the hcg as well... both can cause excess water retention

Should I replace the cyp with eth, or prop or just drop test all together?
When to start post cycle therapy (pct) then?

Drop the test all together last few weeks. No diff between e, c, or prop besides their half lifes. It's a common myth that prop won't cause as much bloat as e or c which is false. It's mechanically the same hormone. Maybe run the var through the show and then do post cycle therapy (pct) a week after var is done. This is a pretty mild cycle for a contest prep do it shouldn't cause too many problems. Good luck.

By that time I plan on taking:
1 mg Arimidex
2.5 mg letro per day

What is the correct move when it comes to the HCG?
Currently taking 500iu twice per week (day before my test cyp)

Yeah man it dries you out without bloat of test. Just take hcg until your done with cycle. Hcg is counterproductive for pct IMO. Do nolva/clom combo at 40/40/20/20 and 50/50/50/50

I do have Nolva on hand, as well as Clomid. You say this is a better idea than Arimidex and Letro?

I am running arimidex now.
Just split up twice weekly on the morning of my test shots.
By the time I am 2 weeks out I plan on ramping up to 1mg per day.

just run arimidex at 1mg eod right through your show

not sure of your reasoning for the letro??

From what I have been reading Arimidex and Letro are both great for reducing estrogen and bloat the fianl stages of prep.
I am very open to suggestions though, which is why I started this thread. If there is another protocol I should follow I am all ears.
