reverse grip bench press

inked1

huh?
I just tried these for the first time today and will be adding them to my triceps workout from now on. They thrashed my arms way more than skull crushers.

I love them!!!

Skull Crushers, Close Grip Bench, Reverse Bench make up my DC tricep exercises/

reverse grips hit them down lower on the tri. close grips hit um outside and upper. i have never done reverse until the last couple of months and they get my tris sore everytime.

Try this if using the Smythe for this exercise, hang your ass off the bench, so your lower and upper back only on the banch, push your Pelvic up just a bit to help keep your shoulders pinned to the bench, give that a try, tough at first, but you will feel more power when you get used to this set up...

PB, do you mean that inner head down toward the elbow? If so I may switch to these as that is the weak area of growth for my tris.

I usually do close grip with the normal bench bar and plan on doing reverse grip on it too. Do you guys use the EZ curl bar or the bench bar?

normal bar . anthony clark has benched in the 700s reverse grip and some ther guys bench some respectable numbers that way as well .

Seems like people are using wider-than-normal grip. I do normal bench with pinky on the ring; I tried RG with middle finger near the ring, and it felt comfortable that way.

Sure as shit different getting used to though.
