Hey guys...I asked the question in here somewhere....but it never got answered.

When my levels get better....will I have to go on a maintenance dose?......or continue the dose I am on....or stop?

what is the outlook?....

With TRT you take enough T to get your levels back to normal and you take that dose for the rest of your life. Unless you can find a way to cure the underlying problem.

How much and what are you taking?

I am taking Cypionate 1ML once a week.....my numbers were LOW for a 43yr old man......dr said anyway.....Dr said that id what a 70yr old man should have.

T Free wad 3
and
T Total was 80

with my levels above...how long will it take to get my levels back up to what they should be?.....month?....6 months?......2 yrs?

Dude, I'm a newb myself and just learning...but you really need to read up some of the general posts here and on some other TRT bobybuilding forums for basic info. what you are taking does not rejuvinate the testes, just fills up the tank. Go off the juice and levels to return to what they were before the juice, or possible lower, depending on function.

I do however have a question for the knowledgeable RE TRT for life. What do you guys expect the future will bring? I recall reading about a new drug (Aveed maybe) for less dosing... less injections. I don't think it has fda approval yet so no info in the us, but any research or pragmatic results from overseas? Also, any other stuff on the horizon in the next 5-10 years? What about the clear? I cant find much info on that at all and assume it is still underground.

That's not how it works broski. So if you're taking exogenous T, you're never going to recover to the point where you are producing your own (endogenous) T. TRT is testosterone replacement therapy. You are going to be on that 1ml shot for life, if it's what works for you.

That being said some people have recovered from a shut down HPTA using things like triptorelin or long PCT-type cycles, but it's not consistent.

thanks couch.....needed that info......so I guess when you stop taking it...your levels just start dropping again.....Dr told me I had the levels of a 70 yr old man(at 43).....guess it's not for life...just till I'm 70 ;)

Yeah that is the idea. You stay on. It's not so bad -- test c is cheap, and usually if you have a formal diagnosis of hypogonadism you can get your insurance to cover it.
