Should I buy dumbbells for my gym?

There is a great gym, with great hours that I want to go to, but it only has 120lb dumbbells. I see they dont really want to get more dumbbells because nobody has requested for them besides me. Should I order some from them and pay for them myself so I can go to this gym and have dumbbells I can use?

I would need to buy a pair of 130lbers, and a pair of 160lbers.

Im wondering if I should or not..........

120lbers are for tricep kickbacks....... they are useless.

Do you know how expensive heavy dumbells are because they are not mass produced?
I have made a couple of sets of heavy dumbells...2-160s....and a pair of 180s...they come with butterfly attachments...to add multiple weights in increments of 2 1/2 -5lbs....price em out they are not cheap.
I have a set for someone here ....I am just waiting for enough time from my schedule to make a personal delivery....to a good bro.
And don,t buy a set so someone else can use em....that would be dumb.....if they let you keep em there lock em up.....or put em in the trunk....great ballast for the winter months....
By the way what sissy gym you thinking of joining bro?
Most hard core gyms have dumbells well over the 150lb mark.....the gym I am at now has 210 lb dumbells......

hahaha my gym goes up to 90lbs and NO ONE lifts over the 75 pound mark its fucking sad how non-hardcore it is

Yeah, my gym (rec center, actually) only goes up to 100's and I'm the only person I know of that presses them for reps. Even the (very very few) guys in there who know what they're doing don't venture above the 80's.

Last spring I had to go out and buy some from www.ironmind.com where I could adjust the weights to go higher than 100.

I've seen some big fuckers and never spotted clean kickbacks with 120s, overhead pressing I will get up to the 150s and thats as big as my gym goes.

Ummm, I was kidding about being able to do tri kickbacks with 120lbs............... LOL!!

Maybe I will buy my own dbs and use them at home, then finish my workout at the gym? Thats kinda dumb though.

The gym I go to now kicks ass with heavy dbs, but the hours suck on staurday and sunday and that pisses me off because I like working out on saturady evening.

Well I could train monday to friday straight. I need 5 days in the weight room per week. I like to take a day off usually on wednesday and just train an extra day (saturday) to make it easier for myself.

And yea, its because of my work schedule.
