Ok here is the deal im 6"1 and weigh 240lbs i am an overall big guy very broad with big shoulders, most people usually guess i weigh around 210-220,any way i am looking to build by chest up alot, but i need to loose my stomach, the love handles and probably a few pounds before i bulk.should i try to loose some weight to get the fat off my stomach before i bulk or should i just bulk the try to cut it down after my cycle.i am gonna be takingsome dianabol for bulking but if i decide to drop a few pounds what can i use to burn some of the fat off.any help would be greatly appreciated thanks alot

I would! Get yourself to a reasonable bf% & then add clean calories back in. Eat big, eat clean & do some cardio

No.
Start lifting weights heavily. and just eat healthy. no potato chips or mcdonalds. Eat chicken or lean beef stirfries, steaks, grains, eggs etc etc etc . you will lose lots of weight while gaining muscle. you dont need to eat like a pig to gain muscle like some people on here will tell you. Arnolds way was always eat healthy and gain a reasonable amount of muscle while staying lean. if he wanted to lose weight he would just reduce calories maybe 15%

but if you can't bare to look at yourself in the mirror lift weights, and do atkins, and cardio

agreed, eat clean, eat right. get you diet down.
find out your body fat then find out how many cals you need a day to maintain your lean body mass. im telling you, find out what your body needs, and outside of the gym it will seem like the diet does all the work for you. anyone can train hard, but your only working out for a hour or 2. its the diet that you have to get down, the mental stuff that your diet will play on you.
im sure people on this board have programs and all that automatically tell you how many cals you ened to be getting a day and all that, but get a diet down, and post it, get everyones opinions on it and all and then go fot it

I was in your similiar situation.. i was in 6-0 200 lbs 9% bf all through college and was in some competitions but gained about 30 lbs after college football was over.. probably switched about 15 lbs of muscle for fat also.. so i would say a 45 lb fat conversion.. still bulky but thick and undefined..
what i did may not work for you but its a thought.. i chose to completely thin down first doing the atkins lifestyle (not a diet) and it worked. was down at 207 when i started clen and t3 (made the choice to loose some muscle mass) and got down to 185.. it was fast because i ate right worked out hard (not anything above normal) and chose to completely slim with the t3 and clen.. worked great..
i tell you this because you will have a hard time thinning while taking d-bol.. i have much experience with it.. i would reccomend from my personal experience that you would have better success slimming then building back up, plus you will enjoy your gains on AS that much more. getting to see the progress and not the fat covering the the new accomplishments.. good luck

I'm with Wingnut,and I'm in a very similar situation.

I'm about 5'11 and I was 240lbs, sounds like you have the same build I do,with the broad shoulders and such.

Around early December I decided I wanted to get into better shape, changed my lifestyle(not just my diet), ate alot healthier, worked out almost every day. Since December I've dropped 24lbs of BF,maybe more, since I've added muscle as well. (haha,Losing 24 pounds of body fat in 3 months probably inst that great, but Im pretty happy with it.)
The difference in definition is crazy, while I'm still not in great shape by any means I look a lot better than I did. Gut is way smaller, man-boobs are way smaller, legs are way smaller. I'm planning on getting down to about 200-195 and then looking at starting to bulk. If I were you I'd probably drop some BF before bulking.

I'm far from an expert on any of this, but thats just my opinion.

Good luck with whatever you choose man!

This is what helps me. Except I don't do the cardio, maybe a couple brisk walks during the week. Cardio seems to hinder my gains and nit help me increase strength.
