What can be done to improve this area. Its a weak/stubborn area. Not my traps but on the bone where the traps end. Shoulders crack but I have no pain.

Rear delt work and some back exercises hit that spot. DB rows, barbell rows, rear delt flyes. One I use: I'll sit on a bench, lean forward and have a db in my hand, keeping your arm straight, bring it back kinda like you would when skiing or like you're shifting into 2nd gear, just further back. I also do a very similar exercise while staning using the low pulley on cables.

here's something...

the rear delt is the MOST stubborn delt head!!

sure..you go hit it hard...but what?..HIT IT HARDER I SAY!! ^^

all pullings will hit it...don't neglect side rear raises..
