I am on my 8week of Test E cycle. Planned on going for 12weeks however i injured my left shoulder on Friday and am going to see my doc later today to have it looked at. I was supposed to pin this morning but figured id hold off until i had it diagnosed. Im assuming if is a rotator cuff injury i should just cycle and start pct in 2 weeks? Or should i just finish it knowing i wont be hitting the gym soon

tough call... at least you got 8 weeks in before an injury. My wrist is injured after 3 weeks. Not sure what your goals are, but I am considering transitioning this into a cutting phase, and doing as many lifts as my wrist will allow. Report back after the doc bro, hope everything is okay.

To me you seem pretty confident that you are injured and not hurt, so that being the case I think I would stop and let myself heal.

I have dislocated my left shoulder 6 times or so ( sometimes it went back in so fast its hard to tell if it actually dislocated or just walked on the outside of the joint) and I had to take off for a very long time for it to heal without surgery. I only bring this up because I understand what your thinking about right now. I had to stay out of the gym for so long that doing another 4 weeks of test would have been pointless.

If you have a bad report from the doc he'll refer you to an ortho specialist and then prob an MRI and go from there. If it turns out to be torn I would suggest cardio or anything else that would get the blood moving. As we all know white tissue doesn't recieve a lot of blood flow at all so anything to get the blood pumping will speed up healing. Whatever you do don't sling your arm. If you do not keep it mobile your joint its gonna "freeze up" and you'll lose range of motion with it. The doctor should show you a stretch you can do with a towel. You will take your healthy arm and hold the towel over your head and let it hang between your shoulderblades with the end near your lower back. You grab the low end with your bad arm and gently pull up with your good arm. Run that idea by your doctor if he does not suggest it and see what he says.

Stay positive until you get proof your shoulder is injured though! It's very common to have a ligament or muscle get pinched inside the joint of the shoulder, resulting in a bruise RIGHT in the area of the joint. Thats probably enough playing internet doctor for me :P.

Good luck I hope you hear good news. Almost everyone who lifts that I know has had a shoulder scare/injury. Whatever happens you will come back from it.

RThanks for the advise guys. Lets say the doc tells me to lay off the weights for say 2weeks. Would you continue with cycle knowing you cant lift for 2weeks. Im just thinking of all the possible outcomes and how i should handle it

So it isnt a rotator cuff injury just a badly pulled rhomboid and pinched nerve. Just now starting to feel better. Was hoping to start lifting again on Monday. Should i still scrap this cycle or can i finish off the last four weeks. .....gahhh hate to give up on this cycle. Having really good progress

if ur feeling good by then end of next week and nothings torn cont.

guys i know who get injured drop the test to 250 pw till things turn around but im taking about pros not the avg gym rat

I think I'd let it heal myself too... I've pushed my shoulders to a point that they don't heal and it'll take both shoulders getting cut on to fix at this point. Trust me when you can't do more then 30lb dumbbells some days on shoulders you start thinking just how foolish I was to get it to this point.

Keep the weights going bro after you heal and keeping growing.
