shoulder injury would steroids help?

so about 8 weeks ago I was involved in a motorcycle accident where I hurt my shoulder. I went to the hospital and had x-ray's and nothing was broken. So I rested it and started back in the gym light. It kind of seemed as though the use of it at the gym was helping and it gradually got better till about two weeks ago. I was doing flat bench and on my last rep the shoulder rolled out of socket. Thankfully my workout partner was there to keep it from falling on my face. It was very painful and has been bothering me since.

Now for my question, I had a cycle planned to start april 1. I'm not quite sure what I should do with the shoulder injury. My cycle was planning on being test/deca with a tbol kickstart. I was kind of wondering the the steroids would help the injury heal a lot faster, especially the deca since its a joint injury. Or should I postpone the cycle until the injury starts to get better? If you guys could give me some advice on this it would be much appreciated.

Steroids don't heal injuries at all period. Best to wait. Deca will lubricate joints relive pain from sore joints but not heal injuries.

I would go and see a doctor,an Orthopedic surgeon before i started the cycle IMO....ive got a cycle planned, but im waiting till i get my strength and endurance built back in my shoulder,i had surgery on mine back in January,i had bone spurs removed and my Labrum ligament was slightly torn, and im still doing PT...its been a bitch to say the least, but i wouldnt start the cycle until you know for sure whats going on and what kind of injury you have first, cause a shoulder injury is big time pain in the ass for recovery,my surgery was a simple one,but i have not been able to workout with my injured arm since jan in the gym only in PT...now i can only work my triceps.Im working my bicep in PT and in the gym,but with 8lb DB's only....just be careful man...good luck

As a person who has a ton of exp with shoulder injuries and been treated by one of the best surgeons in the country steroids will not help. I actually had to stop my last cycle short because the shoulder I had fixed 5 yrs prior was giving me problems. Well I have two torn labrums now instead of one and I told him no way im going back under. The shoulder is the most complex joint in the body once you damage it things will never be the same no matter what a doc tells you. I just lift through the pain now but power lifting on the bench is out of the question. Its all for the looks on the upper body now and used to hate people who lifted for looks being a former football player. Thank god I got nice legs to work with.

i agree man,esp on the powerlifting...i was lucky it didnt tear my rotator cuff,if i hadnt had the surgery, the spurs wouldve eventually done that, and my surgeon didnt find my labrum tear until he was doing the surgery, thankfully it was a small tear and on the back side of my shoulder, instead of closer to my bicep tendons....how did you tear your labrums and ahve you totally healed from surgery?
