Side effects of HPTA suppression?

Since a lot of us in this forum are on TRT. I wanted to ask, anyone know what the side effect of suppressing the Pituitary/Hypothalamus ?
Since we supplement hormones into our body, Hypothalamus and Pituitary are shut down....
is there any long term risk to this ?
I've met a few docs that get alarmed when seeing the pituitary hormones zeroed out on labs...they kinda spook me too, so that's why I'm asking.
Since Hypothalamus and pituitary are suppressed from exogenous T, do they still secrete hormones for thyroid function ?

If they didn't, I would think that TSH would be out of range if that was the case...Mine hasn't been.

You can get a thyroid profile run. My numbers always look good while on TRT.
