I recently started a cycle of anavar from a trusted source at 5mg/day, split between morning and evening.

After only two days (four doses of 2.5mg) I noticed a (quite subtle) deepening of my voice. I stopped dosing immediately and am now waiting for my voice to go back to normal - if it does, I will restart my cycle at 2.5mg/day - if it doesn't, I won't touch anavar again. A shame, but I knew the risks going into this.

I'm just curious as to whether such a quick side-effect from such a low dose is an indicator of naturally high testosterone (for a woman at least. I know it'd still be nowhere near men's).

Is it a case of... a woman with higher testosterone may get more/quicker sides due to her natural levels? I guess I'm looking for a silver lining! 'I can't do anavar because of the sides, but hey at least that means I've got naturally high testosterone, so that's a plus for natural muscle-building!'

I also assume it's much more complicated than that and so much more comes into play, but I was just wondering if it could be the case on a very simplified level.

Thanks for any replies.

I believe it's downright impossible for that side effect to develop so quickly on that (or probably any) dose.
It takes time for levels to build up and tissue to grow.
You might be imagining your voice change because you're worried about it, or getting a cold, etc.
Nothing wrong, however, with erring on the side of caution.

Just for future reference, if you are in the US, you can get your own blood work run quickly and cheaply. Get the Hormone Panel for Females at Private MD - Buy Lab Tests Online. With the 15% off coupon code it costs about $53. This way you will know where your hormone (and other) levels are at.
