Sleep and AAS

EQMASTERON

Hi guys!

One of the biggest problems with Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) is insomnia... or irregural sleep paterns due to use.

Now, I have been trying to understand what is causing this. Is it the Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) that are highly androgenic like Tren, or is it something else?

Nandrolone seems to be pretty mild in this regard for most users? Maybe because it has low activity on the CNS?

Help me out...

Tnx!

I'd like to know this too. I have severe insomnia. From the time I lay down to go to sleep, it usually takes me 2-4 HOURS to fall asleep! I hate it so bad.

I get it too... valerian root puts me out withn 20min. I try and save it for when i wake up in the middle of the night though.

I'm on Tren and Test cycle now and I sleep like a baby. Never have experienced anything like I've heard others do. I guess I'm lucky.
I have been on HGH for over a year though and so that may be the main reason I sleep so well.

Sleeping is a bitch on cycle. Its just like I can never fall asleep, no matter how tired I am. I bought some Passiflora, which is a mix of Passiflower, Lavender, Valerian Root and GABA. Stuff makes me fall and stay asleep much easier.

work harder during the day. get up earlier. benedryl and melatonin

Same here, I alternate between benedryl and melatonin. I have a script for ambien but don't use it very often.

I think it's the lack of estrogen that causes it. If I start having problems with insomnia, I just cut back on the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) dosage or use nolvadex instead and the problem goes away.

I think you got it backwards. Estrogen or steroids that have estrogen-like activity cause agressiveness and insomnia. On the other hand, progesterone and progesterone-like steroids (debatable as to which ones these are) cause restful sleep.

If you are on a test only cycle and you reduce E to very low levels with anti-E agents (letrozole, etc.), you will be tired all the time.

Tren is the only steroid I have used that keeps me awake. All the others I have taken either have no effect or make me sleepy. High dose tests cycles make me sleepy all the time (it's almost hard to function sometimes). HGH and IGF also make me sleepy.

Damn... well it seems everybody are different. Some of you say it is the estrogen some say of you say it is the remedy.

Maybe my problems are from Masteron or is it the EQ 600mg/w?

I think it is the Masteron... have used low levels of EQ the past month but kept the Masteron high (600mg) so it cant be the EQ.

But I think it has to do with the fact that Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) is in the body 24H, while Testosterone is in the body mainly in the morning and in very low dosages thru the day and night. It like inecting Insulin for diabetics... they can never feel the same as some normal person. All the shit we go trhue for mass. Well well...

Any more suggestions?

Tnx for the tips of Pasiflower or what its called

go to your Dr. and get a RX for AMBIEN ! It is a great sleep aide. Will help tremendously !@

Guys, as someone who's got a close friend addicted to antidepressants as well as sleeping aids: BE CAREFUL! Don't go there unless you REALLY need it. Try running a search and you will find plenty of forums of people with MAJOR problems from taking that stuff. Try the natural stuff first as suggested by others.
