one issue with the ZMA however, ZMA will not help or make you sleep. After you fall asleep it helps promote deeper sleep.as well claims to help increase your testosterone levels.
Keep in mind that if you do use ZMA to take it 30 minutes before bed, BUT if you are having a caseiin protein(cottage cheese) before bed have the ZMA first as calcium will block the absoption of the ZMA.
I did find that ZMA helped out a great deal in getting a more restful sleep. I did not find that 5-HTP helped me though.
Melatonin is also great for sleep but you have to make sure you don't take it too late or you'll feel very groggy in the morning.
I have used Valerian Root as well as a sort of relaxer and yes it does help. I normally use it if I'm feeling a tad stressed as opposed to a sleep aid. One word of caution with valerian root...hehhe....don't smell it! It stinks really bad!
