Snowgirls first Anavar cycle.

Day 11:
5mg am and 5 mg pm. Had to move my workout to the morning for today…not liking that…I'm not a morning person!. My wrist isn't right still…have a support on it but it's still crap :(

Sides: Nothing new .

Workout: Back and Bis. bettered my previous which is good BUT I didn't have the energy I should have had…not doing a morning session again!


Day 12:
5mg am and 5mg pm. My wrist is fucked…really not good. I should probably rest it but I'm not willing to lose a week, will just have to carry on strapping it and hope for the best!! REALLY tired today too, think I'm going to have a little extra carbs today and see if that helps. On a really positive note…woke up this morning and I'm noticing that my stomach is feeling a bit 'tighter' and flatter at the front…liking that…hope it continues in that direction!

Sides: Nothing new

Workout: Shoulders and Calves…started off thinking I was going to just die from the shoulder burn before I even got going properly…BUT ended up smashing it! Struggled *slightly* with overhead barbell press due to my wrist support getting in the way of my grip and then hitting my collar bone with the bar (OUCH!!!) but weight was still increased from last time. Upright rows almost doubled in weight from 3 weeks ago…proper happy with that. Pumps from hell in my shoulders but the burn wore off a bit quicker than usual, which is a relief!
Calves did pretty good too, all weights up on those and not too bad of a burn…..HAPPY HAPPY!
 
Careful with that wrist! Joint and other connective issues will put you out of commission completely if you ignore them. I know I ignored a sharp pain in my shoulder for a long time, only to find out I was beating my poor rotator cuff up pretty badly - putting me off training for nearly 3 months! Remember, there are always alternative ways to move that weight - you can still hit the same muscle groups with pulling exercises just as much as pushing. Taping can also help; but if it remains painful for a week, I'd go talk to a doctor and have it looked at.

Yeah good point! Really not worth the risk of a bad injury...I'd be gutted!! It's pretty much fine on everything except for bicep curls...hammer curls feel ok due to the angle but an underhand grip and a curling motion is killer! Might give those a rest and stick with the strapping and the hammers, did that last week and it felt a hell of a lot better than it did yesterday and this morning lol!! Will defo be keeping a close eye on it though...and if I need to see the doc I will :)
 
I do hammer curls myself as I feel it isolates certain parts of the biceps in a different fashion than the concentration curl or preacher curl. Well I do both, but I do prefer hammer's as they're easier on the elbows and wrists. You may also have much stronger biceps muscles than your forearms, which can cause sore wrists. Once your wrist heals up, take a dowel/thick stick and tie a shoestring to it. On the other end of the shoestring, you can tie a weight or something relatively heavy (5-15lb range). Then roll up the string and release it slowly, and repeat. Doing this 10 times a few times a week will most certainly help if you have strength issues in your forearms. :)
 
I know a few other things that will strengthen your forearms...lolz...:angel2:

Hahahaha!! I'm telling you, if I was a guy my forearms would be like Popeye's....I'd be at that all day long lol!

On serious not, regarding the wrist and stuff, my forearms seem to be getting pretty strong....the weighted rope winding thing that was mentioned....have done that a few times before (they have one at the gym) but haven't done it lately due to the stupid wrist pain :( Might give it a go with a lighter plate on the end to try and build it up.

Day 13:
5mg am and 5mg pm. Day off today…get this wrist rested! Finding it SO hard to walk past my chin up bar without doing some though haha! Such a novelty to me….but the wrist is more important than my fascination with chin ups! Went out for a couple of beers…and managed to stick to just a couple, not bad going….considering what I used to be like! Doesn't really interest me anymore tbh. Hate days off from the gym…just feel at a loss with what to do with myself…feel guilty for not working out too lol!

Sides: Face feels a bit oily and I have a couple of little pimples on my chin, not very noticeable.

Workout: Day off.



Day 14:
5mg am and 5mg pm. Another day off, cooking all my weeks food today so that'll keep me occupied! Gotta have a few extra carbs today too, so will look forward to that lovely bloated feeling later haha!! Will probe stick to rice or potato, seems to be a bit less bloating for me.

Sides: Just the 2 chin pimples (have picked them, tut tut haha).

Workout: Day off.

just wanted to say great thread, I just started my first cycle of Anavar (var) in april, I've been on 10mg am, 10mg pm and also started hgh 1iu per day. Anavar (var) is thee best lol... it's great to see your dedication as I know how hard I've been pushing myself!! Keep up the posts and the great work!!
 
Hey! Thanks...finding it helpful keeping a log, keeps me motivated...not that I'm having much trouble with that right now anyway! How are you finding that dose? Any sides from it? I'm thinking of increasing mine next week to 15mg ED just to see what happens, sides right now are pretty much non existent....Also the HGH, when did you start that? Sorry, loads of questions! Am thinking of using that myself at some point but not sure I can cope with sticking myself!! Keep it up!! :D

Seems like your making gains and getting what you want from it though so why increase more is not always better. Your gonna pay for it somewhere sown the line either with money or with your body...

Slept in for AGES this morning...this heat is killing me, we just don't have the means to deal with it..no air con!
Wrist felt a bit stiff this morning but it's not as painful as it has been.

Sides: Nothing new

Workout: Legs and week 6 of y3t which means pure evil...a million reps and I could have sworn my quads were gonna burst open haha...got through it and lived to tell the tale...added a bit of weight and got through the reps a bit faster with a bit less recovery that last time, so pretty happy with it. Gonna hurt like hell tomorrow though...can already tell! :D

ALSO...have just signed up with 3JS...REALLY looking forward to getting my diet plan and seeing how good this can really get!
 
Very good choice!! You will see some amazing results come very fast with the right diet, especially on cycle. I am getting excited for you now..lol Good luck and keep posting!!

hey snowgirl... keepin a log is very helpful!! your doin awesome!!! I have no side effects from the Anavar (var), when i first started in April i was spliting 25mg per day, then dropped down to 20mg per day, still no bad sides at all... as for the hgh i started that in may at 2ius per day, I started havin terrible joint pain in my hands/fingers... I took a few weeks off and went and had all my blood work doe, seein my dr tomoro to go over it all. but i just started back up last week but cut down to 1iu per day, as of right now doin good no sides, woke up today w no joint pain will see how I do tomoro, usually takes a few days to get back in my system. I'll keep ya posted. I had thee BIGGEST fear of needles but i'm doin em myself now, took me awhile to get over the fear but the needle is so small u barley feel it!! :) keep up the great work!! You keep me motivated!!! :)

Thanks Niko...appreciate it :D Glad to hear the joint pain has gone...that couldn't have been too much fun with your lifts...and good job on the lack of sides too, I guess some of us are lucky and some not so much...I've had a few spots to date but no horror stories as of yet! Good luck with the bloods tomo, hope everything's all good there for you, keep me posted with that!!...Still think I'd need to find someone to stick it for me haha!


Day 16:
5mg am and 5mg pm. Feeling tired AGAIN today, so slept for ages...hope it's just the heat!? Wrist is stiff when I wake up and still a bit dodgy throughout the day and now my left delt is being a bitch too...really fucked my workout up today...unimpressed!

Sides: Bit of a spot breakout, mainly around my neck and a HUGE chin boil, luckily it's under the skin and you can't really see it, felt huge last night and this morning but seems to have gone down over the course of the day! Chin ball haha!

Workout: Chest and Tri's. High reps this week, had major issue working chest as my left delt kept burning out WAY too soon, not sure if it's poor form (looked ok and this is the first time it's happened to this extent!) think I may have just started out too heavy, think dips were the only thing that didn't hit it too badly...well pissed off with it! Tri's were good though so all was not lost!

Day 17:
5mg am and 5mg pm. Not so sleepy today…glad about that. My wrist felt much better earlier, better to the extent that it gave me no grief whatsoever with curls….BUT now (this evening,) it's playing me up again, keeps cracking and just feels really uncomfortable…changed my days around this week so I get 3 rest days to try and sort my sore delt out…fingers crossed…was still a bit annoying when doing back today!

Sides: Just a few spots and a little bit of rage…think it's approaching THAT time though so that's pretty normal lol.

Workout: Back and Bis….Not too bad, have decided that me and high reps just don't get on very well though…I do so much better at low to mid rep range, fine by me, prefer to lift heavy anyway! Not a bad workout though just not fantastic, was bound to have an off day sooner or later though!! Bring on next week when I'm back to my heavy sets!!
 
Day 18:
5mg am and 5mg pm. Overshare alert here guys but this log is all about the nitty gritty so deal with it ;)
Shark week has officially landed…slightly early and without much warning (my boobs usually get sore and harder lol but nothing this month!!)..kinda glad though, at least it's staying pretty normal in that respect rather than spotting and stuff through the month, which I heard can happen….also explains my rage yesterday! Bloated to fuck though…feel like Jabba the Hutt! So excited about my new diet plan with 3JS…can't wait to get going with it…counting down the days lol.

Sides: The spots are dying down, hardly anything noticeable now, awesome! Period turned up with NO indication apart from stomach cramp, so guessing whatever the Anavar (var) is doing to my hormones it's somehow turned off the sore boob switch..this is a GOOD thing!! Lot of stomach bloating today but that's normal for me at this time!

Workout: Shoulders and Calves. Last lot of high reps, not gonna lie….it was painful but I got through it and it's over with now! Not a bad session actually…worked hard and did what I had to do. Burn from hell in my left delt with the lat raises but it's ok now….and calves felt like they would split open at any time haha! Back to heavy work next week….can't fucking wait!
 
Shark week, hahaha. I have never heard that before! I've been told Anavar (var) can reduce the severity of the cramps and is actually one of the selling points for my wife. Glad to know it's at least somewhat true for you. :D
